Revolutionary War Reenactment at Webb-Deane-Stevens

Following the Memorial Day Parade that kicks off at 9 a.m. in Old Wethersfield, the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum presents a Revolutionary War encampment and battle scene re-enactments Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 211 Main St. The event also features sword-wielding horsemen, marching drills and musket firing and music. Admission is free; regular admission for museum tours.

Having just returned from vacation, I can confirm reports of backed-up lines and longer-than-usual waits at airport security checkpoints — and officials say it's not going to get better any time soon.
