When Alison Holloway stumbled upon a grainy video of a young girl on the Internet belting out Beyoncé in her Croatian school gymnasium, she was determined to cast her on NBC’s new hit show, Little Big Shots. But details were scarce – the girl’s name, school and town were a mystery – so Holloway’s team issued a bulletin in Croatia and visited the country’s consulate. “We slowly tracked her down,” Holloway says of 13-year-old Mia, who ultimately came to Hollywood and performed the very song that got her discovered.
