One of the major problems in the world today is the spread of parasites, called intestinal giardia (Giardia or Lamblia intestinalis), which lead to intestinal infection that affected many countries. This parasite around the world has become the number one cause diseases carried by water. In countries such as Mexico or India, tourists recommend before each meal drink 20 grams of alcohol as tested folk remedy for disinfection.
Nowadays, though, there are more civilized methods of prevention of infection through the water. Thus, the addition of stabilized oxygen in water, remove for 30 seconds chlorine and kills bacteria and other organisms. Stabilized oxygen destroys even so-called "Montezuma's Revenge", known also as "Beaver Fever", which caused by simplest parasite of Giardia family.
Infection of tapeworms is extremely rapidly spreading. Perhaps this trend is associated with an increased predilection of people living in the West, to eat raw and exotic meat, dishes of raw fish (sushi). One of the most deadly parasites is an amoeba. It was reported many deaths caused by amebiasis. Usually a person becomes infected with an amoeba either through contaminated raw vegetables, or through the water.
Parasites balantidiums, the kind of protozoa covered with cilia, including many species live in the intestines of pigs and other vertebrates and cause intestinal infections and diarrhea with ulceration of the intestinal mucosa. This is a pretty good reason to exclude pork from your diet, if the Biblical commandments are not enough for you.
It is difficult to diagnose worms and other parasites because over the millennia of permanent habitation in organisms of different hosts, they have learned very cleverly to disguise by tricking the immune effector mechanisms or avoiding them. The parasites are able to hide or change their antigenicity, weaken the host immune response, and thus become "invisible" or "subtle" even for immune system, and the more for laboratory diagnostic methods.
The danger of parasites lies in their extremely poisonous for us secretions - different toxins. Many parasites produce toxic substances that are harmful to the host. Other parasites act as foreign stimuli for the host tissues and provoke a chronic inflammatory reaction. Some worms deprive the host of a large amount of blood (hookworms), and long tapeworms - of food.
Parasites differ in their impact on the host organism. Sometimes they are quite safe. Parasites that are considered dangerous called pathogens. Examples of this are the parasites that cause malaria fever.
Many protozoa are parasites, such as a special kind of amoeba, which is able to destroy the inner surface of the human intestine. They cause painful and serious disease called "amoebic dysentery", which can lead to dehydration, as well as bleeding and ulceration of the intestines.
Flatworms and roundworms are parasites that cause serious damage, sometimes leading to death the owner. One species of flat worms - trematode - grows in the intestines, liver, lungs or blood of humans and animals to be fairly large. Tapeworms, another kind of parasites living in the intestine, attach to the intestinal wall by kind of suckers or hooks.
Trichinosis is a disease caused by ingestion of contaminated, poorly processed pork. Trichina is a small worm that infects pigs. Larvae after passage of the intestinal wall fall in blood vessels of a pig. Blood carries the larva in the muscles where these tiny worms penetrate the muscle fibers and still live there.
When a person eats pork, the same cycle is repeated in the human body. Symptoms of trichinosis are manifested in headaches, fever, muscle pain, swelling eyes and even breathing painful. These symptoms are similar to other diseases, so that people do not even realize that may suffer from intestinal worms.
In recent years, more and more people are faced with the problems caused by excessive multiplication of fungus Candida albicans. Global nature of the problems associated with extreme spread of antibiotic treatment, since the second half of XX century.
Taking antibiotics very quickly suppress useful intestinal microflora, which serves as a natural deterrent to reproduction of Candida. Only two or three weeks of taking antibiotics or fungicides you can get quality candidiasis, which will not easily to getting rid.
Candida, like many other fungi, is an anaerobic organism, and the lack of oxygen (especially noticeable for urban residents) contributes to its growth and reproduction. Therefore, along with restoration of intestinal microflora and lifting of immunity, an important factor in successful treatment of candidiasis is the oxygenation of the body.
Possible diseases and disorders arising from the invasion of parasites: allergies, arthritis, rheumatism, bruxism (teeth grinding), colitis, fatigue, diabetes, obesity, weight loss, headaches, hypoglycemia, indigestion, insomnia, lupus, mineral imbalance, nausea, neck pain, sinusitis, thyroid dysfunction, vomiting and even cancer.
