    Frank Scaglione joined KCCI Storm Team 8 in March 2009.

    Prior to joining KCCI, Frank was the chief weather anchor and general manager at IowaWeatherNow, a 24-hour weather service from 2006-2009. While there, Frank became very interested in severe weather, storm chasing and Doppler radar. Frank uses his storm chasing experience to provide KCCI viewers with real-time reports from the field during breaking weather.

    Frank graduated with highest honors from AIB College of Business in Des Moines (Go Eagles!) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is currently attending Mississippi State University for Broadcast Meteorology.

    In addition to anchoring the weather, Frank has a professional background in marketing and advertising. He owns and operates Westown Advertising Media and Westown Sports Marketing in Des Moines.

    Frank enjoys getting involved with and serving the local community. He was appointed to the Iowa State Board of Education for a one-year term in 2009, and has served on many other boards and committees for non-profit organizations. Frank has emceed numerous events around Des Moines, including the Central Iowa Kidney Walk since 2010.
