Take a look at her over the years. Alba's first role was in the 1994 movie "Camp Nowhere," but she also appeared in the short-lived TV series "The Secret World of Alex Mack" that same year. She continued her TV career with the lead role of "Maya Graham" on "The New Adventures of Flipper." Alba appeared on 24 episodes of the show, which ran for four seasons. The year 1999 saw Alba return to movies, with her screen credits including the Drew Barrymore film "Never Been Kissed" as well as ... ... the teen horror-comedy "Idle Hands." But her breakout came in the James Cameron-created Fox sci-fi series "Dark Angel," which ran for two years beginning in 2000. The "Dark Angel" role won her the award for Choice TV Actress at the 2001 Teen Choice Awards. Following "Dark Angel's" cancellation, Alba took a role in romantic-drama "The Sleeping Dictionary." She followed that role with the title character in the 2003 dance flick "Honey." "Honey" earned Alba four award nominations at the 2004 Teen Choice Awards. The role earned her her second nomination from the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Alba arrives for the seventh annual Young Hollywood Awards in Hollywood, Calif., on May 1, 2005. Alba was nominated for a Razzie for worst actress for in 2006 for both "Fantastic Four" and "Into the Blue." The year was a "banner year" for Alba, who received Razzie nominations for worst actress and worst screen couple for her work in three different films, including the "Fantastic Four" sequel ... ... "Good Luck Chuck," with Dane Cook ... ... and "Awake," with Hayden Christensen. The year also saw Alba starring with Aaron Eckhart in the comedy-drama "Meet Bill." Alba arrives at the 2007 Fashion Rocks Concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sept. 6, 2007. Alba received her fourth overall Razzie nomination, as well as her first Teen Choice Award, for the horror-thriller "The Eye." Alba's 2008 Razzie nomination was also partially for her role in "The Love Guru." Alba arrives at the 24th annual Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on Feb. 21, 2009. U2 lead singer Bono joins Alba at the Clinton Global Initiative on Sept. 24, 2009, in New York City. The event gathers prominent individuals in politics, business, science, academics and religion to discuss global issues.
