"Twilight" star Peter Facinelli knows a thing or two about young-adult literature. He did star in all five big-screen adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling "Twilight" series, after all. And perhaps a bit of the author's shine rubbed off on the actor, because he's penning his very own novel (with a little help from his friends)!

The book is slated for a summer 2015 release, and here's the synopsis:

We're just one sleep away from the big season-five premiere of "The Vampire Diaries," and, well, it'll be a miracle if we get any shut-eye because we're just that excited. After all, there are big changes in store for our favorite Mystic Falls residents—or should we say, former residents? Elena and Caroline are kissing their town good-bye to give higher learning a go at Whitmore College, while those dastardly Originals are heading down to the Big Easy to reclaim their throne in New Orleans. (Better hire someone to update that population sign, council.)

Given all of this upheaval, what exactly, then, can we expect from the premiere episode? We posed that question to stars Kat Graham and Candice Accola recently, and they offered up a few interesting tidbits. We won't spoil the video above, but suffice it to say refrigerators, bangs and shirtless boys are involved. Just watch.

Somewhere in Austin, Texas, former pastor/DJ/current event-planning major Casey is crying into his brisket and baked beans. Because as we saw on last night's "Mindy Project" episode "Music Festival," the affianced couple just couldn't make it work.

But if we've learned anything from multiple guest appearances by Bill Hader and Mark Duplass, Dr. Lahiri's one-time loves are skilled at finding ways back into her life. So could we see Casey again?

"You know, Pastor Casey is finding himself," actor Anders Holm told MTV News while we visited the set of his other series "Workaholics." "I think there's a chance he might drift back into Mindy's life sometime in the future, but right now the guy is all over the place. He's a mess. You know, he's getting fatter. I don't know if you've noticed that. The guy is a wreck."

We can't really talk about last night's New York premiere of "Gravity" without also talking about the film's terrifying premise, a.k.a. astronauts floating untethered through the indifferent blackness of space after a catastrophic space shuttle accident, a.k.a. we cannot think about this even a second longer or we're going to start actually screaming. So instead, let's talk about Emma Watson! And how she's been showing up lately in a variety of beautiful, basic black-and-white looks for red carpet events! (Astronauts? What astronauts?)

Emma isn't actually in "Gravity"—her appearance at the premiere was likely a show of support for director Alfonso Cuarón, who also helmed the third "Harry Potter" movie—but she was downright eye-catching in a white minidress with a tiered skirt and lots of shoulder exposure, paired with metallic pumps and some deep, dark lipstick. Very glam, very sexy...and yet almost demure in comparison to her belly-baring look at the GQ Men of the Year Awards a month ago, where the actress sported a pair of high-waisted black trousers and a cheeky bolero bandeau top in a lovely shade of ivory. And before that? It was an understated black silk dress with a plunge neckline for the "Bling Ring" premiere, along with chic striped pumps and ravishing red lips.

We’d like to take bite into Charles Michael Davis, but we'll settle for watching him play a hottie vamp on the “Vampire Diaries” spin-off, “The Originals,” which kicks off this week. In honor of his new series, we’re naming him this week’s Hump Day Hottie. We’re pretty sure no one will complain about that.

Check out this dreamy photo of Charles, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Charles grew up in Dayton, Ohio. Before he got his start acting, he was making girls swoon as a model, appearing in ads for Nike and Foot Locker.

Lovatics will want to tune in to "Glee" this Thursday, as Demi Lovato makes her debut as a love interest for Naya Rivera's sassy Santana. And the singer/actress took to Twitter to ensure fans do just that.

"She's such a badass; I love her," Demi told MTV News of co-star Naya last month. "And I've been friends with a lot of the people from the cast beforehand, so I feel right at home."

While Hollywood was busy having babies this past weekend, it appears "Twilight" actor Jackson Rathbone spent his time tying the knot.

Us Weekly reports that Jackson wed his burlesque-dancer girlfriend, Sheila Hafsadi, in a ceremony in Malibu.

"It was a small wedding," a source told the magazine. "Just close friends and family only."

The couple began dating after meeting on a 100 Monkeys tour stop, and they have a son, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI, who was born in July 2012.

So it wasn't just us who noticed how utterly stylish actress Lily Collins is! Cosmetic company Lancome announced today that the 24-year-old will be their newest face, joining the ranks of "Mirror Mirror" co-star Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz and Emma Watson as a brand representative.

"It's an absolute honor and privilege to have been chosen to represent the Maison Lancome," the "Mortal Instruments" star said in a statement. "I have always admired the brand's unique and distinctive appreciation for inner beauty and grace, elegance and utter radiance. I feel incredibly lucky to be included among the most inspirational women ambassadresses for one of the most prestigious brands in the world. It's truly a dream come true."

If you've ever wondered where your favorite YA writers go to work their mysterious, literary, bookmaking wonders, then you'll want to pay attention to this here video, in which we take an exclusive behind-the-scenes trip to the secret underground lair of bestselling author Kami Garcia. (Disclaimer: Lair may be neither an actual secret nor underground...or particularly lair-like, for that matter.)

Her new book, "Unbreakable," is on shelves today, and in honor of its release, the author invited us to peek inside the place where she makes the magic—the magic in this case being a brand new thriller about a girl being hunted by angry ghosts!

For a woman so adept at bringing us inside dark, creepy worlds—whether it's the edge-of-your-seat mayhem that surrounds "Unbreakable" and its ghost-hunting squad, or the ramshackle gothic glamour of "Beautiful Creatures," the series she wrote with pal Margaret Stohl—Kami keeps her writing space tidy, comfortable and surprisingly devoid of cobwebs and/or ectoplasmic drippings. (Unless they're all hidden in that suspicious-looking bag. You know the one.)

Ugh, that awkward moment when you finally come up against the big bad archenemy you've spent your whole life fighting against—and instead of being a gross, greasy, gloating pile of Unmitigated Evil (like President Snow, or Jabba the Hut), he's all, "Join me! We'll eat cake together and rebuild the world!" and worst of all, he's actually kind of sexy about it. The worst, amirite?! And that's just what awaits our lady warrior in "Raging Star," the thrilling conclusion to Moira Young's "Dust Lands" trilogy, as Saba has to negotiate her complex feelings for the villainous De'Malo and choose her ultimate destiny.

The bad news is, you'll have to wait until next spring to see how it all turns out. The good news? You might be able to glean a hint or two from the moody new cover, which we get to reveal EXCLUSIVELY right about...now.
