The fans of the Twin Frozr series have often been able to convince us of their low noise character and the GTX 750 gaming is no exception.„ “A look at the bottom of this GTX 750 version reveals that MSI even didn't hold back to donate two heatpipes to enhance the cooling performance.„ “The power consumption of the GTX 750 is surprisingly low and is well below the 50 watt of the equally fast GTX 650 Ti Boost or R7 260X.„ “If you raise the clock by the possible 135 MHz, the MSI card makes a pretty good figure, because in boost mode the card overclocks to very good 1364 MHz without any problems.„ “With good cooling the GTX 750 series has then also a remarkable OC potential with Boost clock speeds close to 1400 MHz going along with an additional performance improvement„ “What can you get out of the card with a larger cooler MSI demonstrates impressively on the GTX 750 Gaming. Noise is simply no longer an issue.„ N750 TF 1GD5/OC TweakPC Energy Efficient TweakPC Aug, 2014 Germany “One of the nicest features of the new MSI cooler is of course the use of 10 - cm fans. In the Windows desktop mode, we measure only a noise level of just 28.7 dBA. The card is almost not perceivable at a distance of 1 meter.„ “The MSI model of the R9 270X does not neglect - as other models do - the BIOS switch and the dual BIOS as the introduced by AMD. The option protects against a defective BIOS and also allows two different BIOS versions on the card.„ “The MSI card overclocked again later and runs by default with 1120 MHz. This clock rate is also kept constant, so it is not a "variable "Boost indication.„ “Overall, an increase in clock speed of 80 MHz was possible. This is again about 7 % more when calculated based on the base clock .„ “Compared with a standard clocked R9 270X you can surely achieve a performance increase of 10 % by overclocking the MSI card.„ Z97 MPOWER Score 10/10 Think Computer Aug, 2014 United States This is the first of MSI’s overclocking motherboards that I have taken a look at and I have to say I am very impressed. CX420 Top Honors no.1 Lan OC Aug, 2014 The Z97M shared a lot of features with the cheaper B85M, but you do get more features across the board and a better looking board with the completely blacked out PCB and the new heatsink styling X340 Silver Bear Bjorn3D Aug, 2014 The board delivers on a much more versatile package by taking away the XL-ATX requirement of the Z87 model and I think that as benching picks up in Z87 as I have already seen some benching with this board it could be one of the boards to beat. Editor's Choice: Enthusiast SILVER Award HardOCP Aug, 2014 The MSI Z97 XPower AC motherboard is a great piece of hardware design. It has proven to be a great overclocker as well and is built like a tank.
