I particularly love making this because it smells delicious and the salts help rid my body of excess water too, so it’s perfect to bathe in before I go out – it beats the bloat! This DIY home spa treatment is perfect for removing dead skin cells that accumulate especially during the sunny summer months. One of my favorite sites to look for delicious, healthy recipes is Detox Kitchen . Based out of London, The Detox Kitchen prides itself on offering wheat, dairy, and sugar free recipes. It’s where healthy meets delicious! They will be opening their second deli in London. I love this recipe for frozen yogurt and strawberry cake because it’s an English summer tradition in honor of Wimbledon! Ingredients: For the base 150g hazelnuts 100g sunflower seeds 120g dates 2tbsp rapeseed oil Pinch salt For the Filling: 350g fresh strawberries 100ml honey 200g soya yoghurt 2 bananas Zest & juice of 1 lemon Strawberries to garnish Directions: Toast all the nuts and seeds and place them in a blender together with the dates, rapeseed oil and salt and blitz until everything is combined. Spread the mixture in a 20cm cake tin, with a removable base. Place in the freezer to chill whilst you make the topping. Place the strawberries and honey in the blender and blend to a puree. Add in the soya yoghurt and coconut yoghurt and blitz until smooth. Tip this over the base and leave to set in the freezer overnight or for at least 4 hours. Remove from the freezer and top with strawberries. What You’ll Need: 2 tablespoons pure shea butter 2 tablespoons avocado oil 1 ounce pure beeswax ¼ teaspoon calendula oil 5-10 drops lavender oil 5-10 drops tea trea oil Directions: In a small pan, melt shea butter, avocado oil, and beeswax. Stir well. Remove from heat and stir in calendula, lavender, and tea trea oil. Let cool slightly, then pour into small jars or lip balm containers. Ingredients: cooking spray 1 packed cup grated zucchini 1 large egg 1/4 medium onion, minced 1/4 cup grated reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs 1/4 tsp kosher salt and black pepper to taste Directions: Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Grate the zucchini into a clean dish towel until you have 1 packed cup. Wring all of the excess water out of the zucchini, there will be a lot of water.
