Autograph Requests

Q: Can I send an item to the front office to have the team and/or a player sign it?

A: No, due to the large volume of requests received each year, we do not accept personal items to be autographed. The Seahawks Pro Shop has player autograph sessions every Tuesday beginning in September and ending late December at which you can get personal items autographed.

Autograph Sessions

Q: Will they have autograph sessions like last year on Tuesday nights?

A: PLAYER AUTOGRAPH SESSIONS: Player autograph sessions will be held at the Seahawks Pro Shop every Tuesday beginning in September and ending late December.

For an updated schedule and list of players appearing visit the Pro Shop online and click "Meet the Seahawks". The one hour autograph sessions run from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. The store will close at 7:00pm promptly. Fans can begin to line up at 4:00pm outside the ProShop doors, against the Stadium wall. Holding places in line is not permitted. Due to varying line length, we cannot always guarantee that all those in line will receive autographs, although CenturyLink Field staff will do their best to accommodate as many fans as possible. Autographs are limited to 2 per person for this purpose. We regret that we cannot accept pre-orders for signed merchandise.

Due to time constraints, the Seahawks reserve the right to limit or discontinue photographs. Due to new NFL security procedures, fans may not linger inside the ProShop or behind the players during autograph sessions. Once their items have been signed, fans are asked to exit the ProShop. CenturyLink Field security staff will be on hand to ensure the safety of players, staff, and fans. Parking is available in the North Lot at posted rates. Metered parking is located adjacent to the North Lot on Occidental and King Streets. For additional information, please call 206-682-2900.

Parking Around Stadium

Q: Where can I park if I don't have a season pass?

A: There are many private lots located South of Safeco Field and North of the CenturyLink Field in and around Pioneer Square and under the 99 Viaduct downtown.

Q: If I carry a disabled placard, does that give me automatic access to the North Lot?

A: Unfortunately, it does not give automatic access. If you do not have a prepaid season pass, it is unlikely you will be able to park in the North Lot. It is a good idea to make alternate plans such as using the drop off area in front of the Pro Shop on Occidental Ave.

Q: My husband wants me to drop him off at the "Drop Off Area". Where is that?

A: The drop off area is located in front of the Seahawks Pro Shop on Occidental Ave. Since this street is blocked off at King and Royal Brougham, the ONLY way to access this area is from 1st Avenue onto Railroad Way South. This area is available both before and after every game. Please be patient and follow police instructions, as this area can get congested close to game time.

Q: I am a season holder and would like to purchase parking. Is there anything available?

A: Parking is extremely limited and is renewed by our season ticket holders each year. Please contact your account representative at 888/635-4295 to get the most up-to-date information.

Q: Can cars or RV's park at the Stadium overnight to tailgate?

A: No they cannot. This was done on a trial basis for a few games in 2003. Unfortunately, security needs, police, noise, and complaints from local neighbors prohibit us from trying this again. Please call 888-635-4295 for some RV Park alternatives.

Q: It is hard to know where to park if you do not have a pass. Any suggestions?

A: Since majority of the parking adjacent to the Stadium is reserved and sold out on a season basis, the best alternatives are the Union Station Garage on 4th Avenue or the Safeco Garage adjacent to Safeco Field (where the Mariners play). If you come late, those may be full as well so you will want to head south and look for one of the many private lots.

Q: Where can I find pregame traffic and parking updates?

A: Tune your radio to KIRO 710AM. They will provide traffic updates and suggestions as to where to park if you are not a passholder.

Q: If I don't have a pass can I drive down King Street and try to see if they will let me in the Lot?

A: King St. will be restricted to passholders for the North Lot. Try going to Union Station Lot on 4th or any private lot south of the Stadium.

Q: What is a PayPass card?

A: MasterCard with PayPass technology gives fans speed and convenience at stadium and event center concession stands. Just "Tap" your PayPass card at any concession PayPass terminal and your purchase is complete in seconds! No fumbling with cash, nothing to sign and you're back in your seat fast.

Permission to make and sell a product

Q: How do I get permission to make and sell a product with the Seattle Seahawks name and/or logo on it?

A: The Seattle Seahawks name and logos are copyrights of the National Football League. Any person or business wishing to make and sell products incorporating NFL copyrights must obtain a merchandise license from NFL Properties. Individual NFL clubs -- including the Seahawks -- do not have the authority to grant anyone permission to make and sell products incorporating NFL copyrights. For more information, please call the NFL Licensing Hotline at (212) 450-2780.

Season Tickets

Q: Are season tickets available?

A: We are currently selling 2011 season tickets. For more information, please call our ticket office at 1-888-635-4295.

Q: Is it possible to upgrade or add seats to my season ticket account?

A: We are expecting a very high renewal percentage again for the 2011 season which will limit the amount of upgrades available.  All upgrades will be addressed before locations are assigned to new customers. To participate in the seat upgrade program, please visit our online upgrade request form on My Account Manager at Seahawks.com.  All upgrade requests must be remitted by initial renewal deadline.

If you are interested in adding seats to your account, we recommend that you place a deposit for the 2011 season. By placing a deposit, you will secure priority for additional seats when inventory becomes available. We will begin the seat selection process after we complete our renewal and upgrade process in the spring. The sooner you place your deposit, the sooner we will be able to contact you with additional season ticket availability.

Q: What is Touchdown City?

A: Touchdown City has something for fans of all ages and interests. You can test your quarterbacking accuracy, get timed in the 40 yard dash, and participate in other interactive exhibits that test your football skills or knowledge. For those who want to relax and watch NFL games from across the country, there's Touchdown City's "Linebacker Lounge," a sports bar with a giant 40' X 48' projection screen. Touchdown City features more than twenty-five entertaining exhibits including a full scale Seahawks locker room replica, inflatable games, a broadcast booth where you make the calls, Measure up to the Pros football combine, 710 KIRO's pre-game broadcast stage, Seahawks Alumni autographs, face painting booth, and energizing performances by the Sea Gals and the Seahawks "Blue Thunder" drumline. Admission into Touchdown City is free and open to all Seahawks fans three hours before each home game. Touchdown City is located inside the CenturyLink Event Center, which is connected to the south end of CenturyLink Field.

The name Seahawks

Q:How did the team get the name Seahawks?

A: In June of 1975 a contest was held to name the team. After receiving more than 20,000 entries the name Seahawks was chosen.

Q: What is a Seahawk?

A: Seahawk is another name for an osprey. Ospreys are birds that live on rivers and sea coasts all over the world. They have a wing span of 4 to 6 feet, and body length of 22" to 25". Seahawks soar over the water to hunt for fish, and unlike eagles, ospreys often dive completely under water, using powerful talons to grab their prey.

Ticket Scalpers

Q: I see people selling tickets outside the stadium. Is this legal?

A: It is illegal to sell tickets at any price on Seahawks property. We have added extra security and police patrols to help deter this bothersome practice.

Q: Is it safe to buy tickets off the street. They claim to have some great seats.

A: It is absolutely NOT safe to buy tickets from anyone selling on the street. Most of the time these tickets have been reported stolen, are counterfeit, or missing from someone's mailbox. Fans who choose this route, do so at their own risk. The Seahawks assume no responsibility for tickets purchased anywhere other than authorized Seahawks sources.

Transaction News

Q: What is the news policy on Seahawks.com?

A: As Seahawks fans you probably wonder why ESPN can run a "crawl" that says the Seahawks have agreed to a contract with _____, or the Seattle Times writes on its website that we've agreed to a deal with _____ - and that information is not on the team's official website. The simple answer is: agents.

Reporters stay in contact with players' agents and those agents will alert good reporters when the agent has agreed to a contract. As a team, we have to be more cautious with that information. First, we usually wait until a player passes the physical and signs the contract before we announce anything. Second, there have been examples when an agent agrees, uses that as leverage with another team and then takes the players someplace else. So, we have to be a little more cautious with that information. In the end, we'll have more information because of our contact with the players.
