MIM-Kyiv is a leading graduate business school located in the capital city of Ukraine.

Our programs are designed to help professionals successfully cope with unique challenges of management and business in Ukraine.

MIM-Kyiv was established in 1989 as a joint venture between the International Management Institute (IMI-Geneva) and the Institute of Economy of the National Academy of Science in Ukraine.

It was MIM-Kyiv that first offered an MBA program based on international standards to the post-Soviet managers in 1990 has remained since then the leader of business education in the country.

The New PMD Intake Kicks Off

In late April renewed PMD programs kicked off. This time traditional PMD range was widened by the new PMD “Performance Management” program. It targets operational managers. “People’s” PMD “M&L” started on the same day.

PMD “Finance” Class 2013 – 2014 Are Awarded with Certificates

PMD “Managerial Finance” class of 2013 – 2014 was awarded with their certificates in mid-April. Finance people from all over the country were happy to master finance function as a part of a company’s strategy. Moreover, they developed their network which all MIM’s community believes to be critical value-added.

AMIS (DBA) class 2013 had their finishing module. Speakers from Ukraine-based but internationally operating businesses covered the most current management issues ranging from family business development and business valuation to venture cap in Ukraine.

Opinion Leaders Speak at MIM

Mr. Svyatosla (Slava) Vakachuk, Ukraine’s pop star gave a talk on Ukraine’s current situation for MIM’s community. For Ukrainians Mr. Vakarchuk is more than just an entertainer. He is respected as one of the intellectual opinion leaders. As usual Slava’s appearance was to a full house.

PMD Programs: New Approaches to the Well-Known Programs

This spring MIM-Kyiv launched its renovated and extended PMD (programs for management development) programs. New formats, business practitioners’ courses and guest lectures and living cases by program participants have been incorporated to the programs.

Living Case Series

MIM-Kyiv launched Living Case series for MBA students. At the series events the real company case is presented, mostly by the students. The presentation is followed by the discussion. Each event is moderated by MIM-Kyiv’s faculty.

Ukraine’s Situation: Do We Have a Chance?

On March 22 – 23, MIM community was discussing the current situation as well as future developments. Business people, statesmen, executives and experts participated in the discussion. Mr. Pavlo Sheremeta, Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mr. Yevhen Marchuk, former National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) secretary, Olexandr Chaly, former Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ms. Olga Belkova, MP (UDAR/Punch party), Mr. Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, a banker, Mr. Pavlo Pashkov, representative of customs agency, and a number of the well-known consultants. Ms. Hanna Bezulyk, a TV celebrity and Prof. Oleksiy Vynogradov, MIM-Kyiv’s VP moderated the discussion.
