Carly Rae Jepsen fans, get ready to pucker up because you’re about to get a big Kiss this September. Carly is releasing her new album, Kiss, next month and we recently caught up with the “Call Me Maybe” singer -- and figured what better topic to discuss than kissing!

Like any twenty-something, Carly has her fair share of celebrity crushes, so we put her the test asking the tough question: Which Hollywood Hottie Would You Rather Kiss?

Round One: “Twilight” Face-Off

In our first round of “Who Would You Rather,” we gave Carly the tough question that’s been plaguing “Twilight” fans for years: Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner.

“Robert,” Carly said. “This is a mean game. Sorry, Taylor, you’re cute too!”

We don’t think you could go wrong with either one!

Winner: Robert Pattinson

The ladies of Hollywood Crush would like to extend an open invitation to newly minted Olympic-double-gold medalist Gabby Douglas to somersault into the MTV Newsroom anytime for a girls' night, in which marathoning our fave CW series and bedazzling everything not nailed down to our colleagues' desks are at the top of the agenda. Because, in short (no pun intended!), the plucky gymnast is our pop-culture soulmate.

For one, she totally gets our abiding love for bloodsuckers. Her Twitter feed is full of the same breathless exclamations we utter each and every Thursday night following another juicy episode of "The Vampire Diaries." I mean, this tweet pretty much sums up all the feelings after the series' epic season three finale:

"Magic Mike " hit theaters this weekend, chiseled abs ablazing. I made sure I was there opening day with some close friends: me, myself and I.

I had planned on going with a few gal pals to see Channing Tatum and the other men of Xquisite shake their money makers, however, I realized last minute that the only day I could go was Friday, when none of my cohorts were available. Not wanting to dash my plans, I just took myself on a date to the stripper flick.

But was seeing a movie about exotic dancers by myself something I should be embarrassed about? I was a bit worried about judgmental side glances leaving me unnerved throughout the movie. Then I remembered: automated ticket kiosks! Social obstacle conquered, I discreetly bought my ticket.

Thanksgiving is a time for many things: being grateful for the year's bounty, spending time with friends and family, and stuffing your gourd with as much pumpkin pie as Aunt Bertha can bake. And, lest we forget, consuming copious amounts of pop culture. I mean, what better time than a four-day weekend to check all those books, movies and TV series off of your to-do list?

My personal plans are a bit of a mixed bag. After years of wrangling from friends, I finally ordered the first season of "Friday Night Lights" on DVD. I'm ready to spend the next few days with clear eyes, a full heart and a body full of tryptophan. On my reading list you'll find Isaac Marion's zombie romance, "Warm Bodies." (If you read Hollywood Crush on the regular, you know Summit Entertainment is adapting the unlikely love story for the big screen.) Last, but certainly not least, you better believe I'll be making at least one trip to the cinema this weekend. So many movies are out today. And with our friends at MTV Movies Blog singing the praises of both "The Muppets" and "Hugo," I'm feeling rather torn...like a wishbone. Ha! Turkey joke! So topical!

We here at Hollywood Crush like to think of Robert Pattinson a certain way. An English gentleman, with a somewhat goofy side, who appreciates the strong women he works with, loves animals and prefers his privacy. Turns out there was one Pattinson trait we were totally unaware of: He also likes bad television!

MTV News recently caught up with RPattz again, and in honor of his upcoming film "Water For Elephants," we asked what he considered to be "the greatest show on Earth." Would he pick, perhaps, a BBC miniseries to feel at home or maybe give a nod to fellow fictional vampire brethren on "The Vampire Diaries"? Check out his response after the jump!

Collective swoon: Robert Pattinson graces the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly with his "Water For Elephants" co-star Reese Witherspoon. If you can bear to take your eyes off that picture for just a few minutes, Rob opens up inside about his post-"Twilight" career and also admits he's a fan of "The Hunger Games."

Did you hear that sound? It's our worlds colliding. Yes, our vampire hero likes Suzanne Collins' dystopian series, and Twitter is buzzing with the news.

"I sort of came across it last year, and I didn't realize it was the most enormous thing in the world," Rob told EW. "It's good! It will be a good movie."

And while Rob may be the latest celebrity to reveal his love of the series, he's certainly not the first. Keep reading after the jump for a round-up of the series' other famous fans!

The proof is in the figgy pudding—Hollywood Crush staffers were very good girls in 2010. How else to explain the bounty we found under the tree Christmas morning? While not all of our gifts were wish-list winners (thanks for the Snuggie, dad), many of our favorites, unsurprisingly, were pop-culture related. What better way to wish an entertainment writer (or anyone, for that matter) "Merry Christmas" than stuffing Ian Somerhalder in her stocking? Keep reading to find out what pop-cult gifts we wished for—and received—and add your own in the comments section!

When John Hughes died unexpectedly in the summer of 2009, movie buffs honored his memory by waxing nostalgic about his '80s, coming-of-age tales like "The Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." And while I too adore those films, I was too young to appreciate firsthand the glory days of the Brat Pack. My movie-going experience began later, when Demi Moore had moved on to spinning clay with Patrick Swayze and Emilio Estevez was coaching Pacey Witter's rag-tag hockey team. No, the John Hughes flick that will always resonate most with me is the classic Christmas caper flick "Home Alone," which opened 20 years ago this week.

I was 8 years old when the movie hit theaters in 1990—the same age as precocious protagonist Kevin McCallister, played by blond moppet Macaulay Culkin. So many elements of this film thrilled me, not least of which were the intricate contraptions Hughes dreamed up as punishment for the bumbling burglars who tried to rob Kevin's house while his family was away on Christmas vacation in France. (We get a sneak peek of Hughes' imaginative Rube Goldberg gizmos in "Ferris Bueller." Remember his voice machine?) Anyway, I loved not only the character of Kevin—a brave, young, quasi-vigilante who spoke his mind and didn't let grown-ups push him around—but also Macaulay, who really was the cat's pajamas. I think my tween self had our entire wedding planned out, down to the "Little Mermaid" dinnerware and Scooby Doo tablecloths.

Every once in awhile, a book comes along that reminds me why I fell in love with the medium in the first place. Transports me to another time and place, forces me to cancel/rearrange all my plans until I finish, and makes me grateful for the wonderfully creative people in the world who put their brilliant words to page. Now, despite my voracious appetite for fiction and non, there have only been a handful of these wholly engrossing reads. "Harry Potter," "Game of Thrones," "The Mortal Instruments," to name a few and now, "The Hunger Games."

I'm late to the party on this, I know, but as of last weekend, I am totally and obsessively on board. Never mind the fact that Suzanne Collins' story alone is absolutely captivating, jarring and heartbreaking all at once, but our heroine Katniss Everdeen is quite possibly THE best female protagonist ever.
