Whether Monday's "Fifty Shades of Grey" casting news left you squealing in delight or seeing a shade in keeping with Christian Grey's Red Room of Pain, actors Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson are here to stay as the bad-boy billionaire and his paramour Anastasia Steele (so you can kindly put away your petitions, okay?). And amid all this furor, an important detail has been overlooked: Director Sam Taylor-Johnson has yet to cast the film's other hot young couple, Kate Kavanaugh and Elliot Grey.

Fans of E.L. James' best-selling series will surely recognize these names. Kate is Ana's best friend and roommate—a budding journalist who comes down with the flu the day of her big interview with Christian Grey. She sends Ana in her place, and the rest is, well, you know. Elliot, on the other hand, is Christian's easy-going adoptive brother, who embarks on a relationship with the feisty Kate after meeting her at a bar.

When a hostile world takeover by mysterious aliens is underway, there's just one thing to do: get nice and comfy on the casting couch to determine who amongst Hollywood's finest young ladies will lead the charge to save humanity! The invasion in question, of course, is the mysterious "5th Wave"—the hotly anticipated adaptation for film of Rick Yancey's novel by the same name.

The book tells the story of Cassie, a 16-year-old survivor of the alien apocalypse that has wiped out civilization as we know it, who's traveling through the wasteland of Ohio in search of her little brother. And today, we're taking a look at five lovely ladies who might be able to take on the responsibility of bringing everyone's new favorite YA heroine to life.

With production on the movie version of John Green's beloved "The Fault in Our Stars" projected to begin as early as this summer, Hollywood Crush has been spending hours on the casting couch, plucking the perfect candidates for the plum roles of teen loves Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters.

Yesterday, we brought you three picks for our leading lady, and today we offer a trio of lookers for our main man, who's described in the novel as "long and leanly muscular" with mahogany hair. Keep reading after the jump for our suggestions!

If you perused our interview yesterday with "The Fault in Our Stars" producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, then you are well aware the duo hopes to begin production on the big-screen adaptation of John Green's heart-wrenching novel as early as this summer. And with a director coming on board within the next couple of weeks, casting can't be far behind. Which leaves us wondering what young actress and actor would be well-suited to spend time in the literal heart of Jesus as Hazel and Augustus.

Today we're tackling the role of 16-year-old Hazel Grace Lancaster—an introverted cancer patient wise beyond her years. Keep reading after the jump for our picks, leave your own in the comments and be sure to come back tomorrow when we take a long hard look at Augustus Waters. (We have tough jobs...)

Who will play the rock-and-roll foil to classical musician Mia in the big-screen adaptation of "If I Stay"? That's the topline question following yesterday's news that "Kick-Ass" star Chloe Moretz will play the 17-year-old in the upcoming film.

To be sure, Mia's boyfriend Adam is one of the dreamiest love interests in all of YA. (Fighting words, I know...) Singer and guitarist for the band Shooting Star, Adam is sweet and sensitive and incredibly sexy. (The three S's...swoon!) Without giving too much of the plot away for those who have yet to read Gayle Forman's heart-wrenching novel, Adam plays a large role in Mia's decision whether to stay. And we love him for it.

While Gayle paints a very vivid picture of Adam's personality and quirks, his physical appearance is less precise. Which leaves lots of room for options! With one caveat: Seeing as a 15-year-old has been cast in the lead we will not be party to any 30-year-old-as-high-schooler business! (Sorry, Cory Monteith.) With that in mind, here are our three picks for the crooning cutie:

Oh, "The Selection." We just can't quit you! Fans were predictably thrilled by last year's news that Kiera Cass' YA novel, about a group of teenage girls in post-apocalyptic competition for the love of a prince, was greenlit for development on The CW—and understandably devastated when the project got shot, then shelved indefinitely by the powers that be. But don't start recording your tearful post-mortem confession in the limousine just yet, y'all: As we reported yesterday, "The Selection" is getting another shot, and this time, they swear that they're committed. And we believe them! (Just don't hurt us, CW. We've been hurt so many times before!)

HOWEVER. With all the upheaval, "The Selection" lost its leading lady: Aimee Teegarden has moved on to other projects. And that means that the field is once again wide open for a young, up-and-coming actress to snag some steady work! So join us on the casting couch, won't you, as we offer up our picks to play heroine America Singer.

With the news earlier this week that the big-screen adaptation of Richelle Mead's young-adult series "Vampire Academy" had sunk its teeth into a screenwriter and script, we've been wearing one bootylicious indention into the Hollywood Crush Casting Couch, picking worthy actors and actresses to play our favorite characters. Today, we're auditioning a trio of lovely ladies for the role of royal Moroi Vasilisa "Lissa" Dragomir.

Shadow-kissed alongside best friend Rose Hathaway, Lissa is quiet and kind, though suffers from the occasional mood swing thanks to her surging spirit powers. Like all Moroi, Lissa is tall and slender, with long blonde locks cascading down her back. With that in mind, here are our picks for the girl who would be queen.

Yesterday, we took a seat on the Hollywood Crush Casting Couch to select three lovely ladies capable of slaying Strigoi as "Vampire Academy" heroine Rose Hathaway. And today, it's all about Rose's diligent yet oh-so dreamy instructor Dimitri Belikov.

The strong, silent Dhampir is a perfect foil to the impetuous, often reckless Rose, and with a well-chiseled body and an enigmatic personality, it's no wonder the student is quickly drawn to the teacher. So let's take a look at the five Hollywood hunks we think could wear Dimitri's leather duster with aplomb.

In case you missed the bloody good news, the production company behind the big-screen adaptation of Richelle Mead's "Vampire Academy" announced Monday that screenwriter Daniel Waters ("Heathers") has turned in a screenplay for the film, described by producer Don Murphy as "smart and funny, clever and really a great read." (News, it should be added, we greeted with a little happy dance that looked something like this.)

Of course, we're still a long way from sitting in a dark theater, chomping popcorn while Dimitri puts Rose through her paces. (BOM CHICKA WAH WAH, AMIRIGHT?) But, we still can't help but wonder which pretty young thing would be perfect to play our favorite headstrong Dhampir. Which is why we're cozying into the Hollywood Crush Casting Couch to share our picks for the guardian. Be sure to share your own in the comments below!

For fans of Veronica Roth's "Divergent," the wait for a movie adaptation of the beloved dystopian YA thriller has been defined by brief moments of wild excitement followed by long, painful silences in which nothing happens, there is no news at all, and seriously Hollywood what are you trying to do to us WE CANNOT STAND IT ANYMORE. But at last, things seem to be moving forward: September brought reports that a release date has been set for 2014, and yesterday, rumors surfaced that Shailene Woodley is in talks for the lead role of Tris. Which means that now is the perfect time to dial up our "Divergent" obsession to 11 and offer up five strapping young actors who could play opposite Shailene (or whomever!) in the role of Four.

If you haven't read the books, some background: Four is the enigmatic Dauntless instructor who guides Tris through the dangerous initiation into her new faction. He's brave, bold, mysterious and—of course—a sexy beast of the highest caliber. So, who's on our shortlist of potential actors to play the role? Check it!
