In April, 2014 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine.

On 6th of May 2014, a working meeting within the Twinning project took place at the premises of the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine (SIPSU). Mr. Pablo Rodenas, representative of the Secretariat of State for International Cooperation and Ibero-America (FIIAPP) and the Resident Twinning Adviser of EU TWINNING Project "Strengthening the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Ukraine", Mr. Taras Katchka and Mrs. Olga Gvozdova, the vice-president and the policy officer of the American Chamber of Commerce respectively, and Mrs. Oksana Shpytal, head Head of the European Integration and International Cooperation Division of the SIPSU took part in this meeting.

Total amount of registered documents of title made up 412 438 as of 01.05.2014.

The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of May 5, 2014 contains 6490 discs.

²n April, 2014 State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine received 465 applications for inventions, 924 applications for utility models, 1688 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 693 under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in April, 2014 made up 2923 documents of title.

The total PPDC collection on optical media as of May 5, 2014 contains about 27 300 discs.

State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine presents an Annual Report for thorough studying of its activities in the previous year. This report will also cover the primary events of the year with particulars by various issues.

²n March, 2014 State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine received 399 applications for inventions, 801 applications for utility models, 1552 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 1093 under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in March, 2014 made up 2268 documents of title.

In March, 2014 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine. During the said period the State Service received 219 sets of documents for entering in the appropriate state registers of data about transfer of property rights to IPOs and granting of licenses to their use.
