Associate (Banking & Finance & Capital Markets Practice Group)

Key Requirements:

• 3 + years of post-graduation experience with a leading Ukrainian or international law firm;
• Excellent theoretical knowledge from a top Ukrainian law school;
• LLM or similar degree from US or UK law school is an advantage;
• Knowledge & experience in handling various large scale-banking, financial matters and matters in the area of international finance, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents, preparing legal opinions and representing clients before their counterparties and regulators;
• Proficient computer skills;
• Strong analytical, legal writing, and research skills;
• Fluency in English, Russian, and Ukrainian is a must.

• Ability to assume significant responsibility in the growing practice and work under pressure;
• Ability to balance priorities in order to meet deadlines and deal with high workloads;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• At least 3 years post-qualification experience with a leading law firm
• Graduated from a reputable Ukrainian university Western post-graduation studies / internship is an advantage
• Substantial experience in Capital Markets, Corporate/ M&A matters
• Excellent legal drafting skills
• Fluent English, Ukrainian and Russian
• Strong commitment, organizational and communication skills
