In the reality of the Ukrainian legal and advocacy services market, even excellent theoretical knowledge of the law is of little use without practical experience. Modern legal education in our country does not always meet the real needs of the market and is generally out of touch with the needs of legal practice. As an active and involved law firm and conscientious employer we are interested in improving the level and quality of legal knowledge, with which young professionals graduate from university. We are happy to share practical knowledge with the lawyers of the future on the rights of invited expert speakers during topical meetings and master classes, as well as colleagues and mentors during internship in our company.
Our multilevel cooperation with the , in particular, provides for the involvement of our firm’s senior management in work of the . As part of the initiatives of this section our experts interpret the practical principles of advocacy practice, conducting of advocacy proceedings, advise on issues of protection of advocates and their clients, explain the nuances of advocate’s confidentiality and respect for the provisions of advocacy ethics.
The all-Ukrainian scientific and social project has garnered special recognition among young people who study law. Practical sessions and on-site presentations in various regions of Ukraine, with the participation of well-known advocates, scientists and educators include discussions of the historical process of development of the Ukrainian state and the role of lawyers in it. These discussions cover the achievements of Ukrainian lawyers during the long historical period as well as promoting awareness in society about the history and current condition of the legal profession in our country.
