In 1992, Bohdan Kulchyckyj, an American citizen, abandoned a promising engineer’s career in the United States of America and flew to Ukraine to start his business from nothing, yet he did not understand a thing in it, and neither did almost 52 million Ukrainians. At that time Ford, an American automotive brand, approved the opening of its representative office in Ukraine and the new-made manager step by step began to establish an automotive company which is known today as Winner Imports Ukraine.
Weekly.ua has decided to find out what could make Mr. Bohdan leave the wealthy US and change them for a third world country that has just gained its independence. And to talk to Kulchyckyj about the today’s car business in Ukraine and in the world as he is considered a top-manager in his field, and for a good reason.
