Chamber Tax Committee Enables Improvements within Financial Sphere Taxation

Postponing the Amendments to CMU Resolution № 793 May Cause Significant Delays with Imported Medicines Supply to Ukraine
The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and Association of Pharmaceutical Research and Development (APRaD) has addressed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to initiate necessary measures to postpone the Resolution № 793 entering into force to allow international pharmaceutical producers and Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies that use “in bulk” drugs fulfilling new requirements of the Ukrainian legislation and thus avoiding severe delays with supply of imported medicines to Ukrainian patients.

The State Service on Personal Data Protection Recommends Chamber Cross-Border Agreements for Personal Data Transfer
On November 1 the Chamber appealed toMr. Oleksiy Mervinsky, Head of the State Service on Personal Data Protection (the State Service) with a request to provide State Service’s position on correspondence of cross-border agreements for personal data transfer to those of the countries which have not acceded to the “Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (ETS #108)” with the current legislation of Ukraine.
