Our first victory

28 of March in Kyiv hosted an awards ceremony for hotels that are included in the list of 100 best hotels in Ukraine, which in 2011 generated annually by the Board of Tourism and Resorts. It was attended by representatives of the 23 best hotels in the country. It is significant that in the list of the best in the Ukrainian hotel industry this year include hotels, representing almost the entire spectrum of hospitality industry - from major hotels well-known international chains to small hotels, other than the original concept and the quality of its implementation.
One of these hotels has become a  "Frederick Koklen " boutique hotel  which entered the honorable "golden hundred".
This is our first small victory. But none of this would have been possible without you, our dear Guests. Be hospitable hotel for us - it means to provide you with the best personal service, to do everything to make your stay in Odessa was comfortable and memorable.

Yesterday we closed the “Best Romantic Story” contest and it's now time to announce the winner!!!
But before we do this, let us say thanks to all who supported us, actively participated in the contest, shared stories and wrote kind words about our hotel. All stories, that you sent to us, were very romantic and beautiful, which made it extremely challenging to select the winner... So challenging, that we decided that the only way to select the best 5 authors was by arranging a draw with the help of 2 charming assistants: a four year old Nadia and a seven year old Gleb.

Merry Christmas!

We congratulate everybody to the great holiday, Merry Christmas! These days Ukrainian people usually treat each other with some sweets, fruits  and, of course, kutya. Sowe decided to follow this tradition! We will glad to see you in our"Sophie Cafe", where we will treat you with our delicious kutya!

New Year` s Eve performance for children in Sophie Cafe

It was a fun New Year's performance for our littleVIP-guests  on the 4^th of January at 11:30 in our restaurant. Children have met  DragonTosha, Santa Claus and his charming granddaughter. Santa was dancing "hip hop" and singing funny children's songs despite the fact that he is old. Of course, he  didn’t forget his  responsibilities–every little guest  found  a gift  in his magic red bag. This  holiday finished  with a demonstration of children's talents: the kids were telling their  favorite poems, singing songs and even dancing all the time, almost  like adults...

So, this magical New Year's Eve finished! It`s sad a little to think that the new 2012 year has come, and all cares and worries of  its celebrating is over...But we hope that this new year will be as happy for  Sophie café`s guests as it was on this New Year's Eve. By the way, we promised to show how Odessa celebrate holidays, and we made good: competitions, surprises, dances, hot jokes lasted until five in the morning! While the guests who wanted  to celebrate the New Year holiday in other glorious places of our city, have been rushing into their warm and cozy beds at our hotel, a party in Sophie cafe was just getting hotter and hotter! Our cheerful guests danced a lot, and some of them confessed to theend of the evening: "We didn`t have such a happy New Year`s Eve for a long time...". And  at the end of celebrating there was a pleasant surprise for  the most active guests - a gift certificate for a romantic candle light dinner at Sophie Café.

Frederic Koklen boutique hotel hosted a photo session of Odessa's brides' parade, held in May 2011. The parade, which had been organized for the third consecutive year to promote family values, was attended by almost all locals.
