POLICY PROGRESS: Chamber Continues Lobbying for Cancellation of Mandatory GMO Labeling through Draft Law #11299 22 November, 2012 The Draft Law #11299 "On Amending Certain Laws of Ukraine on Informing the Public about the Content of Genetically Modified Organisms in Food Products" stipulating cancellation of mandatory GMO labeling for food products if the GMO part in a food product is less than 0.9% was passed in the first reading on November 20 by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. More details » POLICY FLASH: Chamber Advocacy Efforts Facilitated Clarification of the Issue of Exclusion of Consignment Notes from the List of Strictly Accountable Documents 21 November, 2012 Chamber received a reply from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine informing that consignment notes for transportation of alcoholic beverages are not included into the list of strictly accountable documents and a license to issue strictly accountable letterheads is not required for consignment notes issuance.
