Eurasian Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors (ECCAA) is a non-governmental non-profit organization, was established by legal entities (professional entities of accountants and auditors of former Soviet Union countries) in order to achieve mutual goals. The main mission of Eurasian Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors (ECCAA) is to promote the development and increase the status of the accountant and auditor professions, to implement and apply the international professional standards, principles, practice, and ethics developed by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation (IASCF). The target of ECCAA is a representation of its members in international community of accountants and auditors, entering of ECCAA members into IFAC, development and increase of ECCAA members’ activities, and ECCAA functioning as a regional organization recognized by International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
