IT Jam Music Session - it is non-official part of IT Jam Meet&Mix. As any Music Jam sessions this part will be great, unpredictable & fun!

This year we will listen to:

Band "Торт" (pop-punk, Odessa)

Band teammates:
•    Andrew - vocals, guitar
•    Vadim - bass, vocals

The band Tort was formed in November 2010. The band plays pop-punk. They have chosen pop-punk because they live in Odessa, a cheerful city on the Black Sea shore where good mood follows you every day. The band members say they like speed, drive, fun and especially summer, sea, sun and warm sand. Tort is where celebration lives, Tort is like a world' view.

Point (acoustic, grunge, funk and heavy metal, Kiev)

Band teammates:

• Eugene Rybkovskiy - bass, vocal
• Pavel Vatin – guitars
• Alexander Kovach – drums
• Dmitry Sazonov – vocal, frontman

Point was created in 2005 by three musicians, the former participants of the cult Kiev bands, Monkey’s Work, Coming Trust and Western Road – Eugene Rybkovskiy (bass, vocal), Pavel Vatin (guitars) and Alexander Kovach (drums). In August 2010 ‘Point’ found a new frontman - Dmitry Sazonov. 

Due to the fact that musicians keep experimenting with different music styles ‘Point’ plays acoustic, grunge, funk and heavy metal.  Band makes emphasis on the high quality of live sound.

Point has released 3 studio albums, 4 music videos, and several singles. The band took part in numerous life performances; Point records were launched on the air on London X-radio as well as Point videos are being succesfully shown in Urkainian (Enter Music) and Russian (A-One) music channels

Avid Boys Band (grunge, funk, new-metal, hard-rock, Kiev)

…It was 2010. March 8th was not far away. They decided to congratulate all gorgeous ladies of GlobalLogic, but what's the party without good music? And then it was decided to create own band…even though it was their first concert together, they were really great. That day they made a furor and sang an encore. Now we know them as Avid Boys Band. They all test sound software, and music is not only their work, music is their life

NovoProspekt (lyrics, soft rock, Dnepropetrovsk)

•    Maxim Vygovskii - guitar, vocals
•    Igor Pehotsky - bass guitar
•    Simon Shishkin - drums, percussion
 

NovaProspekt's story has started  just  a half of a year ago. Everything has began right after the meeting of Maxim Vygovskiy (guitar, vocals), Igor Pehotskiy (bass) and Alexei Pashkevich (lead guitar) when they found out they have similar ideas and  music tastes and one common wish to cooperate together

IT Jam is going to be the great premier of the band and all the songs of the live repertoire will be performed for the first time!  NovaProspekt will be really glad to share it all with IT-Jam participants

We've decided to continue our last-year great experience to end IT Jam Meet&Mix day with non-official part - IT Jam Music Session. As any Music Jam sessions this part will be great, unpredictable & fun!

We know that IT people are multi-talented. On August 20th in Odessa marine station everybody who know how to deal with not only a keyboard and touch pad, but also with a guitar, bass and any other musical instrument will be welcomed on stage to show their "other" talents.

It doesn’t matter what kind of music you play, we invite all IT musicians to participate in IT Jam Music Session!!! Meet & Mix!

P.S. Also, this it great opportunity to continue active networking among Ukrainian IT specialists :)
