Co-operation of M-I Ukraine League and Datagroup telecommunication operator began in 2009. In three years, a number of celebrated joint projects have been implemented, due to which the mixed martial arts become more and more popular in Ukraine.
Fights of M-1 Ukraine League are always broadcasted in Internet due to Datagroup online technologies. The broadcastings are watched by citizens of both Ukraine and Russia. For example the European «M-1 Fight» which was held in Kiev on June 4, 2011 and in which prominent stars of mix fight took part, were watched by more than 19,000 people just in the first 15 minutes. It is the absolute record for similar projects in Ukraine.
Besides club, international and all-Ukrainian championships, Datagroup supported organization of all-Ukrainian mix fight contest among amateurs. Similar events will become traditional in Ukraine.
In 2010, the Chief Executing Officer of Datagroup and Vice-President of the League Alexander Danchenko instituted the prize for the Season Best Fighter. Following the results of 2010, the diploma and the money prize were won by Georgian-born Ukrainian fighter Guram Gugeneshvilli.
