About the artist S vetlana Ulko was born in 1957 in Krasnodar, Russia. A t the age of 16 she entered the department of УTeacher of Drawing and DraftingФ at Krasnodar Art College. A fter graduation from the college she worked in Ust-Labinsk art school, Russia, for a year. T hen she moved to Moscow and entered Russian State Institute of Cinematography ( VGIK ), department of УCinema Production Costume DesignerФ. A fter she finished the institute in 1985, she started to work for Kiev Film Studios named after Alexandr Petrovych Dovzhenko.
