The drive provides reduced voltage soft start or direct start for induction (asynchronous) motors. Tough and reliable system: Operating temperature range from minus 60°C to plus 50 °C; IP43 protection level That allows to use the soft starter at any climatic conditions Easy to use construction Easy operation and maintenance on-site Extends ESPU life The Triol AK02 provides a soft, unstressed motor start with the ability to adjust the inrush current in the range of 80-400% of the drive nominal current. This extends the ESPU life and allows using transformers with less power delivering capability and less expensive commutation devices. The Triol AK02 protects ESPs from the following: Short circuit currentt; Supply voltage unbalance; Underload; Overload; Low “cable – ESP chassis” insulation resistance; High ESP temperature (with submersible telemetry); Low base oil pressure (using submersible telemetry); High vibration level (using submersible telemetry); High pipeline pressure (using contact pressure gauge); ESM current unbalance; and Start while turbine rotation is present.
