The new fueler "BAKU-1" is already on the Dnieper!

On August 27 in Kiev LIGIR-ETBS has made a descent of water bunkering vessel "Baku-1", intended for fueling boats, motor boats, jet skisand othe rsmall boat fleet. Bunkering works in Kiev as Socar brand.

This great event was attended by many honored quests, among them The Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic in Ukraine – Yadulla Eynulla oglu Madatli, The Head of Socar Energy Ukraine – Elchin Mammadov, Director of LIGIR-ETBS Ltd. – Igor Velichko, Deputy Director of LIGIR-ETBS Ltd. – Larisa Ivanova, Chairman of  "Kiev Shipbuilding Repair Plant" – Alexander Ovdy , representatives of contractors, mass-media and invited guests.

Bunker “BAKU-1”, designed for filling small water transport, will be installed near Paton Bridge, on the left bank of the Dnieper in Kiev.The dimensions of  the vessel: 17x8m, depth - 1.1 m, and displacement -107.6tons .Bunker tanks can hold 67m³ of petroleum products,including two tanks for diesel fuel with a total capacity         51 m³and16 m³ for gasoline.

"Fuel tanks of bunker are structurally protected by double sides and double bottom height of 650 mm. There are built-in pantries for storage of samples of fuel. The equipment includes the bunker with emergency warning system to prevent spilled fuel, fuel dispensers, climate control system in the wheelhouse, the automatic measurement of fuel level, density, and bottom water level in tanks and other engineering systems to ensure safe operation of tankers. The case has ice strengthening for winter parking in the ice without lifting the shore. In addition, the bunker is mounted "soft" white rubbing strake for the freshness of hull boats. In this project, which lasted several months, has taken part experts from more than twenty contractors. We thank them for their efficient work and professionalism. "

It should be also said that LIGIR-ETBS  is the only company in Ukraine, which provides service that is important for the owners, not always associated with the operation of the fleet.
