Valentin Valentiyev [../index.php] Home | Concerts | Ensembles | Gallery | Contacts KARMA TRIO The Karma Basel Trio was formed in the fall of 2010 of young students at Solisten Diplom of the Music Academy Basel and was shortly imposed in the academic music life through the seriousness of artistic work, amazing unity and balance of the ensemble, which was emphasized also by the advising professors: Adrian Oetiker, Adelina Oprean and Thomas Demenga. Sebastian-Mihai Tegzesiu, Mi Zhou and Valentin Valentiyev, the members of Karma Basel Trio are "mature" musicians Ч formed during lengthy years of study, of professional training in music academies and universities of their respective countries, as well as during the years of highly specialized training in the Music Academy of Basel. All three are laureates of several international contests and festivals, have a past and present concert and soloist activity, chamber recitals, welfare concerts, radio, television recordings, enjoying high regards from the music loving public, as well as from the critics. Although of different nationalities, Karma Basel Trio has succeeded to find in music and through music a common language, creating a united team, with its own style of interpretation, whose unity and temperamental similitude creates a special, refined musical expression, doubled by force and virtuosity. Maintaining their individual glow, generated by the personal concert life, Sebastian-Mihai Tegzesiu, Mi Zhou and Valentin Valentiyev, Karma Basel Trio have created an academic trio whose musical cohesion prefigures the tendency for future evolution.
