HUMANITARIAN FACULTY
The faculty was created in 1995 as a structural division of the university in line with the concept of its perspective development. It became the basis for developing and introducing humanitarian courses at PSTU that are included into the curriculum of the students of the entire university.
Today the Humanitarian Faculty plays an important role in educational and enlightening activities both at the university and in Mariupol community. The faculty provides basic education in the humanities and foreign languages (English, German, French) for students of all specialties.

Academic areas: history of music, musical performance, musicology.
Department of Ukrainian Studies
Degree programmes in Ukrainian-Russian Translation: B / S / M
Academic areas: history of Ukraine, Ukrainian and foreign literature, Ukrainian language, modern Ukrainian literature, Ukrainian language for business, Polish, modern Greek and Latin languages, culture of communication.
Department of Translation
Degree programmes in Translation: B / S / M
Academic areas: language studies, foreign literature, theory and practice of translation, lexicology, intercultural communication.
Department of Physical Education
Provides physical training for students of the entire university.
Organizes sports tournaments for university students.
Propagates concept of proper mental and physical hygiene.
