DESCRIPTION: This position is for a software engineer who will join Aquasoft SaaS Solutions development group within the R&D division. The individual will assist in the design and creation of cutting edge solutions for a wide range of product needs. Position requires individuals who can quickly translate requirements into high quality production software. The most desirable candidates will possess strong development experience in distributed applications and browser extensions. The individual will be a part of a highly qualified and successful goal oriented team.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Candidate should have a strong technical Web+Java foundation to bring constant improvements to deliver high-quality applications.

EDUCATION: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering discipline.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Overall understanding of web architecture and UI frameworks. Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience of building large scale rich web applications by using Web services (REST, SOAP) and JS libraries (JQuery, Dojo, PureMVC or JavascriptMVC).
• Experience of developing web browser extensions is a plus.
• At least an intermediate level of English skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

A strong understanding of the web applications architecture, object oriented design and methodology as well as effective programming skills is essential. The individual will be a part of a highly qualified and successful goal oriented team.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years experience in software design.
• Experience with C++ & Python.

EDUCATION: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering discipline.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience of developing IE web browser extensions is a big plus.
• Strong proficiency with development for different platforms including Windows, Linux, Mac OS, iPhone, Android.
• Experience of test automation is a plus.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• At least an upper-intermediate level of English skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies very quickly.

The ideal candidate must possess good working knowledge of Java concepts. A working knowledge of J2EE and popular Java web frameworks is a plus. The individual must be able to clearly communicate with team members as well as clients; the latter would require at least an intermediate level of English reading and writing skills. Individuals with advanced English language skills will be given preferential consideration. Applicants must have knowledge of application or computer system development for distributed environment including Internet based applications, must possess a keen understanding of programming concepts and demonstrate a willingness to be a part of a software team working towards aggressive milestones.
