Body type as the key factor to defining human psychology Have you ever noticed that on some conscious level you can identify character of the person you meet (or hear) for the first time? Haven’t you wondered that all your boy/girlfriends reflect each other, or what does it mean when a person prefers the opposite sex to match a certain picture? Have you observed that those people whose company you enjoy the most have similar features, as well as those whose looks piss you off? The character (or better, the foundation for the character) is formed the very moment a person is born. Before a child reaches 5-7 (the age when children start absorbing information they “really need” to survive in this society) he/she acts mainly the same – or wears just one mask. As the child grows his brain is being exposed to so much outside information that may even contrast with his essence. As the result – the brain is crammed with certain rules, needs, dos, don’ts which form the floors over the abovementioned foundation. Thus, we get a complete structure, which may differ greatly from the initial basis. However, whether we like it or not, the foundations has a very important impact on the whole structure. That impact is usually expressed in the form of behaviour, life views, inclinations, strength, weaknesses, even body types. We have reached the key collocation – Body Types. What is it and why is it so important in our research (oh, yes! Research it is!)? Body type – is the combination of typical features that defines character, likes, views, talents, inclinations; it may affect career, personality, even destiny. You may be surprised, but by the look of the person it would be easy to say whether he is capable of accountancy/ languages/ art/ etc. or not. One Body type inclines that the person is a talented actor, while some other – he is a gifted entrepreneur. It is referring to the Body type one can reckon that the person is shy, or sociable, or very accurate, or caring, or a liar, or he likes darkness, etc. The list is next to endless. Thus, this column would be sapid if you’re an HR, the one interested in psychology, or simply want to differentiate between people and, more important, “Know Yourself” – or what is the complete version for Socrates’s: “Know Yourself as Your Type”. This will inevitably help you to find out your strong and weak points, talents, inclinations, career opportunities, figure out what to concentrate on. What to add? Maybe, a little bit of spring up-to-dates: is there such a notion as the Internal love and can a couple live together having the same feelings for God knows how long? The answer is – Yes, for both questions. The only task here would be to find the appropriate Type that corresponds to yours. Indeed, some structures can be built anew on the basis of the old foundation. I need to explain: it is our personality that is called “the structure” here – experiencing the impact of changes in the society, lifestyle, surrounding we tend to change ourselves; and these changes do not always match with the altered character of a partner. However, if chosen with the matching “foundation”, this union would be much stronger. In fact, you can easily learn how to find this proper “foundation”.
