My name is Julia and I am a professional English speaking guide .I am 47 and am a native of St Petersburg. From my childhood I was carried away with English and fine arts but the idea of combining two these passions came to me only 6 years ago having trained originally in pharmacy. I am a fully licensed guide in all main museums of our city (which means, by the way, that there is no need for you to pay for me there ) with a deep knowledge of fine arts and Russian history. As you have found, I've created my own website and now invite tourists from abroad, working as a private guide in St Petersburg. Last year my husband Vladimir and me bought a car- " Plymouth Voyager" for five tourists and started working together. So we are a family tourist firm working directly with our clients which saves the cost of agencies. Vladimir : is 54 y. o. and a graduate from St Petersburg Mining University. He is a great expert in Russia's modern life and you can discuss with him anything connected with our everyday life and politics; my hobby is fine arts and pre-Revolutionary history of Russia which I think it is a very good combination. This year my husband has started learning English- so be sure he will take part in all our conversations. Nina , our daughter, is now 18 y. o. and speaks good English. She helps us from time to time by being a guide in the smaller museumsand meeting tourists at the airport. She is a student of mathematics faculty at the local university. We are very flexible and never offer our tourists fixed prices on our services . Everything depends on how many people are in your group and how much would you like to see. Tell us your budget and interests (it is very important) and we will tailor your program for you-generally within 24 hours. Let's start planning your trip to St Petersburg step by step just now!!
