Additionally, brand «Universalna» is famous for a life insurance company.
In 2010, insurance company had UAH 249,0 million in Gross Premiums.
Insurance Company «Universalna» follows the best practice of corporate governance, and was also the first local insurance company to be listed on PFTS (Ukrainian stock exchange).
Among the company shareholders there are several western portfolio investors such as: Whiteford Limited — 53,71%, Goldman Sachs — 10,54%, Emerging Europe Growth Fund, LP (managed by Horizon Capital) — 10,65%, Genesis — 9,89% and others.
