In Kiev the informative center of reacting will be created on anxious calls and extraordinary incidents, failures of natural or technogenic character.
In city state administration, a center will be created in accordance with the order of the Kievan city chairman Leonid Chernovetskogo.
As reported in KGGA, for organization of such center it is necessary to integrate the national and regional system of notification and grant the first aid citizens, put right the collaboration of all services an urgent help.
By the main tasks of the Single system of operative-controller’s management in extraordinary situations in Kiev of ESODU are creation of service, incorporated in one system from more than forty controller’s points of different submission and conduct of co-ordination of works after the giving of help a population at the decision of kommunal’no-bytovykh problems.
For creation of effectively operating informative center city authorities want to study and inculcate the best foreign experience of activity of analogical services.
Also promise to inculcate the most modern software and information technologies in work of center.
For today, an agreement is already attained with OAO Ukrtelekom about the selection of necessary number of type 911 or 112.

History of Kiev

Although the year 482 A.D. is considered to be the year of foundation, people inhabit this region for many thousands years. A little more that 100 years ago there were discovered several ancient settlements that belong to the most ancient developed civilization now know as Trypillian culture.
According to the ancient legend, Kiev was founded by the three brothers Kyi, Schek and Khoryv and their sister Lybid, and it was named after the eldest brother Kyi. Kyiv means the city of Kyi (Kyiv is a Ukrainian spelling and Kiev is Russian, more known worldwide since Soviet times).

The transportation in Kiev includes metro, trolleys, tram and buses. The Metro system is the fastest and most convenient. The outer transport connection includes railways and airways.
