JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK – 18 years of trust, experience and welfare

JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK was created simultaneously with birth of Ukraine, and on August 30, 2006 celebrated its 15th anniversary of activity on financial market.

1991
Birth of the bank
Commercial Bank BROKBUSINESSBANK was founded on August 30, 1991 according to the decision of general meeting of founders and registered by the National Bank of Ukraine on October 7, 1991. The bank became an assignee of Commercial Bank “Orendcoopbank” registered by the State Bank of USSR on August 8, 1990.

1992
Creation of Joint-Stock Bank BROKBUSINESSBANK
Commercial Bank BROKBUSINESSBANK was transformed into Joint-Stock Bank BROKBUSINESSBANK on March 24, 1992 according to the decision of general meeting. The bank was issued a licence of the National Bank of Ukraine for carrying out of currency transactions that allowed it to enter international financial market. Authorized capital increased 11 times. The bank opened its branches in Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Lugansk, and three branches in Kyiv.

1993-1994
Growth of economic figures
Accumulation of authorizes capital, increase of balance currency by almost 60 times. The bank services over 3,000 customers. Rapid development of regional network. Image of reliable business partner contributed to strengthening of inter-bank relationships. JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK became the universal banking institution delivering almost full range of banking services.

1995-1996
The bank became one of top banks.
JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK was the first among commercial banks of Kyiv to put into operation premises of own banking centre having area of 4 thousand square meters equipped with advanced technologies and cash vault. Full-scale local computer network was installed. The bank was re-licensed and obtained licence of the National Bank of Ukraine for carrying out of almost all banking transactions.
According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the bank was entitled to service the State Budget of Ukraine.
The bank was authorized by the Ukrainian National Fund “Mutual Understanding and Reconciliation” to make payments to victims of national and social persecutions during the World War II.

1997-2000
Strengthening of trust and partnership
Accumulation of own capital continued, and as of the end of 2000 it made up almost UAH 87,496 mln. Balance currency increased up to UAH 705,42 mln. Renewed material and technical base contributed to attraction of new customers.
In 2000 the bank became one of the partners of Western Union Financial Service, Inc., and started to effect urgent money transfers for citizens via this system.

2001
The 10^th anniversary of creation of JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK
Balance currency reached UAH 1 mlrd. Share capital increased 1.8 times and made up UAH 30 mln. Reliability is provided by own capital amounting to almost UAH 100 mln and by own real estate costing over USD 40 mln. Regional network enlarged twice. Number of customers reached 6,000.
The bank confidently entered the market of plastic cards. It issued the first payment card, installed the first ATM, and introduced the first salary project with CJSC UTEL.
The bank was issued licences of the National Bank of Ukraine for bank metal transactions – important event for the bank because already the next year it became undoubted leader in its business.
The bank opened branch in Khmelnytskyi.

2002
Enlargement of range of services for population
Balance currency exceeded UAH 1.2 mlrd., authorized capital increased to UAH 80 mln. According to the decision of Tender Committee of Pension Fund of Ukraine the bank was entitled to open accounts for payment of pensions and allowances.
In premises of Kyiv regional branch Financial Supermarket started to provide customers with insurance, legal, notarial, auditing and other services.
The bank opened branches in Bila Tserkva, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Volyn.

2003
Mastering of new trends of activity
The bank significantly increased an amount of credit portfolio and payment card issue. The bank started delivering services connected with keeping of share registers, and became the member of payment system VISA International.
The bank imported the greatest in the history of banking system of independent Ukraine consignment of bank gold.
The bank strengthened relationships with customers, introduced joint programs, and implemented discount system.
Ex-chairman of the National bank of Ukraine Volodymyr Stelmah became the head of Supervisory Board.
The bank opened branches in Mykolaiv and Slavuta.

2004
Strengthening of positions on the financial market
By asset amount JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK became one of 10-top largest banks in the country. Regional network continued developing – the bank had 99 subsidiaries and branches all over Ukraine. New card products were developed, and GSM-banking services were offered. The bank successfully operated on the international FOREX market.
Number of customers increased significantly, in particular as the result of enlargement of range of services for population. The bank implemented Client Loyalty Program, and created information and consulting service.
The bank opened branches in Kyiv and Odesa.

2005
Dynamic development of the bank
The bank introduced salary projects at large enterprises, implemented programs of complex servicing of population, and social programs.
Within its network JSB BROKBUSINESSBANK developed Car Loan Program. To protect property interest of its customers the bank cooperates with leading insurance companies. Dealing centre of the bank with own trading platform was opened. The bank implemented remote customer servicing – Internet-banking. It adapted ATM and POS-terminal network for servicing of chip payment cards, and started issue thereof at the end of the year. Dynamic development of distribution channels of the bank. The bank opened five new branches – in Horlivka, Sumy, Uzhhorod, and Kharkiv. In the regions there is the network of Financial Supermarkets.
Bank’s balance currency, along with inter-branch funds reached UAH 5 mlrd.

2006
BROKBUSINESSBANK JSB – 15 years together!
The authorized capital reached UAH 650 million. The number of branches and sub-branches of the bank increased up to 200. The report of international independent auditors confirmed that the financial statements of BROKBUSINESSBANK JSC give a true and fair view of the financial performance of the bank.
The Bank received and confirmed the credit rating of the rating agency „Credit-Rating” on uaA+ level with „stable” forecast.
Such bank’s products as „Golden Deposit”, „Pension Program”, Program „V.À.Ì” and Dealing Centre won in the All-Ukrainian competition-exhibition „The Best Domestic Product of 2006”.

2007
BROKBUSINESSBANK approached international markets. It was the beginning of enlargement of range of services for individuals.

2008
BROKBUSINESSBANK obtained the status of principal member of International payment system Visa International. BROKBUSINESSBANK enhanced self-service of clients and opened the first center for customer service. The modernization of corporate networks was leaded. Concierge-service for VIP clients was provided. BROKBUSINESSBANK was the first one to participate in the worldwide conference SIBOS-2008 – one of the most authoritative measures in world industry of finances. Took title on cash service with a purpose of cheques monetization of the State treasury of Ukraine in 2009-2011 years
