Yuridicheskaya Praktika (Legal Practice) newspaper has completed its traditional readers’ poll that identified the most influential, known, and respected lawyers in Ukraine. The respondents were offered a list of well-known Ukrainian lawyers divided into five nominations based on their areas of activity, i.e. court, legislation, executive authorities, private sector, and academia.

The 7th Annual Legal Forum of the Ukrainian Bar Association “Development of the Legal Services Market in Ukraine – 2011” was held in Kyiv on February 25. The Organizing Committee of the Forum, headed by managing partner of Vasil Kisil & Partners Oleg Makarov, set priorities and pressing issues for discussion.
