Insurance Indemnity Payment Terms

Procedure and conditions of insurance indemnity payment

The Insurer shall within 15 (fifteen) working days upon receiving all necessary documents make the below actions in order to confirm the insured event occurrence and estimate the extent of damage:

  • The insurer draws up a claim report specifying the amount of insurance indemnity or makes a grounded decision on waiving the insurance indemnity payment

    or
  • In case of an objective necessity to carry out additional actions as for investigating circumstances of the insured event, the Insurer strictly specifies a term for such an investigation, but in any case the insurer delivers one of the above decisions within 3 (three) months.

The Insurer informs the Insurant of the resolution within 5 (five) working days in written, specifying the grounds for the resolution.

The Insurer carries out an insurance indemnity payment within 10 (ten) working days upon the signature of a claim report.

The Insurer is entitled to delay the insurance indemnity payment on the condition of opening of a criminal case over the insured event during the investigation.
