The Parliamentary Commission of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on Education and Sciences has sent a request to Dmytro Tabachnyk, Minister of Education and Sciences (MoES) of Ukraine to raise the pay for teachers who participate in administering external independent testing (EIT). This was announced by Halyna Hrzhibovs’ka, Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission at a meeting.
“We decided at our last meeting to appeal to the Minister of Education and Sciences of Ukraine, Dmytro Tabachnyk to increase the pay for teachers who participate in testing,” reminded Ms. Hrzhibovs’ka. “This appeal has been sent.”
As was announced in many mass media outlets, 1.3 million UAH was budgeted to pay Crimean teachers who administered EIT this year. The full amount is to be paid out by the middle of October.
