   Research areas:
   – study of the tendencуі of variability and stability of infectious diseases agents production strains, and of epizootic and vaccinal strains of Brucella, ovine infectious epididymitis, Campilobacteria, Yersinia, which are stored in the collection of bacterial cultures;
   – epizootological monitoring of animal breeding welfare concerning brucellosis of farm and domestic animals, animal chlamydiosis, namely, ovine Chlamidial abortion and ovine infectious epididymitis;
   – improvement of the system and methods of animal chlamydiosis prevention and diagnostics;
   – development and standardization of diagnostic and preventive preparations, improvement of the system of application of the means for infectious diseases diagnostics and prevention: brucellosis, ovine infectious epididymitis, campilobacteriosis, yersiniosis;
   – maintenance of the collection of epizootic chlamydial strains.

Reference-expertise: epizootology, microbiology (brucellosis, Br. ovis infection, yersiniosis, campilobacteriosis, chlamidiosis).

   Research areas:
   – study of antigenic relation, variability and pathogenicity of the agents of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases of young animals;
   - development of means of diagnostics, prophylaxis and treatment means for of infectious diseases of farm and small domestic animals, birds and fish on the base of modern biotechnologies;
   - study of etiology of young farm animals infectious diseases;
   - development and introduction of treatment-and-prophylaxis means and of complex systems of diagnostics of young animals infectious diseases;
   - development of means of specific prophylaxis of bacterial diseases on the base of pathogenicity factors of disease agents.

Expertise areas: epizootiology, microbiology (colibacteriosis, salmonellosis, pasterellosis, colienterotoxemia).
