   Research areas:
   – study of etiology and peculiarities of epizootology of viral gastrointestinal, genital and respiratory diseases of small ruminants and cattle;
   – production andestimation of antiepizootic efficiency of native and foreign developments for specific prophylaxis of the most spread bovine viral diseases;
   – developmentand introduction of contemporary means of therapy and specific prophylaxis of viral gastro-intestial, genital and respiratory bovine diseases;
   – contemporary laboratory straight and retrospective diagnostics, therapy and specific prophylaxis of viral and bacterial respiratory-in-testinal, genetic and genital bovine diseases.

   Reseach areas:
   – isolation, identification and determination of biological characteristics of the main bovine viral diseases agents;
   – development and introduction of up-to-date means of diagnostics, treatment and specific prophylaxis of bovine viral respiratory, gastrointestinal, genital infections;
   – study of cultural, morphological and molecular-biological characteristics of reference, production and epizootic strains of viruses.

Expertise area: virology, epizootiology, immunology (infectious rhinotracheitis, bovine viral diarrhea, bluetongue, parainfluenza-3, rotaviral and coronaviral infections of cattle etc.)

   Research areas:
 - monitoring of epizootic situation of livestock sector of Ukraine concerning bovine enzoothic leukosis in the farms with different forms of ownership, analysis of the efficiency of preventive and sanitary measures;
 - development and improvement of up-to-date means of bovine leukosis diagnostics on the base of in-depth study of the biological characteristics of the agent;
 - sanitation of livestock farms from bovine leukosis ensuring minimization of loses from productivity and population slowdown due to the gradual replacement of infected by leukosis virus caws by own raised healthy heifers.
