«Mirror of fashion» in Lviv forms the subjects of the Championship of Ukraine  on hairdressers art

From June, 10th till June, 12th in Lviv exhibition center "Lemberg" there has taken place the Second national exhibition of the industry of beauty «Mirror of fashion-2010». This is the unique event in the region which shows novelties of hairdresser's art, nail aesthetics, make-up and visage, as well as the European and world tendencies of these directions.

 
Project head of the «Mirror of Fashion» from Expo-center "Meteor" Alina Danets comments the event: «Last year, when we organized Mirror of fashion» in Lviv for the first time, the given event was cautiously reviewed by the local participants and visitors. And this time, at the present exhibition many foreign companies, which are interested in working in Ukraine and in promoting of their production, have specially arrived to get acquainted in Lviv».

Just the same as at all the exhibitions «Mirror of fashion» which take place in megacities of Ukraine, in Lviv there has taken place the selection round of the Championship of Ukraine on hairdresser's mastership, make-up and nail aesthetics «World of Beauty», in which more than 140 masters from different regions of the country have taken part. They competed in 18 nominations.

«Except traditional nominations of selection rounds, in Lviv the masters competed in the nominations “folk style” "and "hairdress for school graduation parties », - told us the head of the Union of hairdressers of Lviv region Lesya Kotsur. – We received a lot of applications for the participation in these nominations. In «folk style» we have seen interesting works in the Ukrainian and Indian style. Hairdresses for school graduation parties, which were not overloaded by vast quantity of details, have drawn attention of young girls, they can use such ideas in daily life».

Representatives of Lviv and the Lviv region have taken 33 prize-winning places. In particular, the victories of the masters from Lviv were gained in the following nominations “Podium make-up”, “Body art”, “Technical category. Female hairdress on short hair”, “Author category. Male hairdress”, “Female hairdress on short hair among the students of educational institutions”, “Hairdress for the school graduation party” and “Fashionable female image (Full Fashion Look)”.

Here speaks the President of the Union of hairdressers of Ukraine Alexey Antonyuk: «Lviv exhibitions are always special. There are several reasons for that, and one of them is that in Lviv we approve new subjects for competitive year in the art nomination. This year the masters will prepare their works covering the topic «On the boundary of centuries».

«Mirror of Fashion» in Lviv was visited by the famous masters of hairdresser's art in the entire country. Throughout three days of work of the exhibition the professionals of the industry have given master classed in the different directions, in particular: the Japanese manicure, wedding hairdresses, evening make-up etc. The participants of the Forum of cosmeticians have discussed the newest tendencies in the sphere of face skin care. The experts have shared their secrets of successful management of hairdresser's salons within the round table «Development and promotion of beauty salons».

Expo-center "Meteor" was founded in 2001. It specializes in carrying out of exhibitions. Every year it organizes the following exhibitions: building and architecture "Fasad", mechanical engineering and industrial equipment «Mashprom», furniture technologies "Uyut", cosmetics and beauty salons «Mirror of fashion», power and electrical engineering "Energoprom", agriculture "Agroprom" and others. Also the company renders services of the organizer of specialized events according to the requirement of the customer. Since 2006 Expo-center "Meteor" is a member of the Global association of the exhibition industry (UFI).

 
All-Ukrainian public organization "Union of hairdressers of Ukraine" is registered on August, 31st 1997. Today the union unites about 3 thousand hairdressers, visagistes, cosmeticians and experts of nail aesthetics from all regions of Ukraine.

In 2008 at the World championship in Chicago the national team of Ukraine in the technical nomination has taken 5 place. In the individual rank in the World championship in 2009 in France the masters from Ukraine have won "gold" for visage and for female hairdresser's art. The national team of Ukraine for visage is one of the strongest in the world.
