The State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development

In order to implement the CMU decree dated May3, 2007 № 255-p “Issues on the Establishment of regional innovation development centers” (the text is given in the original version) the State Agency of Ukraine for Investments and Innovations (the Agency) established the North-Eastern Regional Innovation Development Center (The North-Eastern RIDC).

The North-Eastern RIDC was established by the North-Eastern Agency order dated May 31,2007 № 48 “On establishment of the state budget organization “The North-Eastern Regional Innovation Development Center” (the text is given in the original version). According to the Regulation confirmed by the Agency order dated June 6, 2007 № 51 (the text is given in the original version) aimed to ensure informational and analytical, methodical, organizational and other support for innovation development of Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

The North-Eastern RIDC office is located in Kharkiv.

The North-Eastern RIDC:

executes the analysis of the innovation potential;
ensures scientific and other support for innovation development programs and projects implementation in the region through the target-program financing mechanisms in accordance with legislation on the competitive basis of scientific and technical programs and other designs focused on realization of scientific and technique development priorities;
assists the development of informational and consulting ensuring of innovation activity and innovation development;
supports the process of establishment and widening of the regional innovation infrastructure;
supports realization of priorities of innovation activity in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine;
is responsible for the organization of interaction between scientific, researches and innovation enterprises, institutions and organizations, state authorities.
