Podcast Licence Terms

This page and any documents referred to on it (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to on it) tells you the terms on which you may download and use digital audio and/or video content from any website of AstraZeneca UK Limited (an “AstraZeneca Podcast”).

By downloading or using any AstraZeneca Podcast you agree to be bound by our Terms of Use and the licence terms set out below (the “Podcast Licence”). We may revise the Podcast Licence at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in the Podcast Licence may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our websites. Your continued use of any AstraZeneca Podcast after any change to this Podcast Licence signifies your acceptance of such change(s).

1. Licence

Subject to the terms of this Podcast Licence, AstraZeneca UK Limited (“we”, “our” and “us”) grants you a revocable (at any time), non-exclusive, personal, non-commercial, worldwide, non-transferable, royalty free licence to download from this website and use the AstraZeneca Podcast. This Podcast Licence may not be transferred, novated, assigned and/or sub-licensed to any third party. All rights not expressly granted in this Podcast Licence are fully reserved by us, our Affiliates (as defined in our Terms of Use and licensors (as the case may be). Nothing in this Podcast Licence grants you any right or licence to use any of our trade marks.

2. Use of AstraZeneca Podcast

2.1 The AstraZeneca Podcast is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, sell or otherwise reuse or commercialise the AstraZeneca Podcast in any way.

2.2 You may not edit, alter, adapt or add to the AstraZeneca Podcast in any way, nor combine the AstraZeneca Podcast with any other material.

2.3 You may not download or use this file for the purpose of promoting, advertising, endorsing or implying any connection between you (or any third party) and us, our agents or employees, or any contributors to the AstraZeneca Podcast.

2.4 You may not use the AstraZeneca Podcast in any way that could bring our name or that of any Affiliate into disrepute or otherwise cause any loss or damage to us or any Affiliate.

3. Limitation of Liability

3.1 The AstraZeneca Podcast is made available by us on an "as is" and "as available" basis and we give no warranty of any kind in relation to the AstraZeneca Podcast. We disclaims all implied and statutory warranties in relation to the AstraZeneca Podcast to the maximum extent permitted by law.

3.2 We have taken reasonable care to ensure that AstraZeneca Podcasts contain no errors, viruses or defects however we do not warrant that this is the case and you download and use all AstraZeneca Podcasts at your own discretion and risk. In accordance with god computer practice, you are advised to take all reasonable precautions to protect your computer from virus infection including but not limited to use of commercially available, up to date, virus checking software . To the maximum extent permitted by law the we will not be liable for any loss or damage which you may suffer as a result of or connected to the download or use of the AstraZeneca Podcasts.

3.3 Each provision of this Clause 3 operates separately in itself and survives independently of the others.

4. Indemnity

You hereby agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend us and our Affiliates in respect of all damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and litigation expenses, arising out of or as a result of any breach of the terms of this Podcast Licence or otherwise in connection with your use of the AstraZeneca Podcast.

5. Intellectual Property

Rights All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights in and to the AstraZeneca Podcast shall remain the property of us, our Affiliates (as defined below) or third parties.

6. Termination

6.1 We may restrict, suspend or terminate any or all AstraZeneca Podcasts or your access to the AstraZeneca Podcasts at any time at our sole discretion without liability.

6.2 Clauses 3, 4, 5 and 7 shall survive termination of this Podcast Licence.

7. General

7.1 This Licence shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

7.2 Any failure or delay by either party in exercising its rights under any provisions of this Podcast Licence shall not be construed as a waiver of those rights at any time now or in the future.”
