ASTRA BANK Participates in Currency Auctions

From March 6, 2009 ASTRA BANK participates in all currency auctions on USD selling conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine in order to meet the demands of bank customers who has received FX loans. Exchange rate of USD at NBU auctions in which the Bank participated was UAH 7,80 per USD 1.
ASTRA BANK is going to continue participation in currency auctions. If you are Bank’s borrower (either private individual or private entrepreneur) and you have received loan in USD before October 15, 2008 you can buy foreign currency for repayment of credit liabilities to the Bank (including early repayment) at the rate established by the NBU at currency auctions on USD selling + 0,2% (mandatory charge for state retirement insurance from cashless foreign currency buying/selling).
In order to buy foreign currency in the amount of monthly payment on loan and past due debt you will need to:
- Send sms to the number 8(050)383-05-77. Mention your surname, name, patronymic and amount of bought foreign currency in USD. Auctions are conducted by the NBU weekly. Your application will participate in the auction if the date of monthly payment on credit is 5 working days later than the auction. Acceptance of applications (sms) for the nearest auction ends within one working day before the auction.
- Apply to any branch of the Bank during a week after sms-message sending but not later than the date of monthly repayment and complete an application for foreign currency buying and pay the amount in UAH that consist of UAH equivalent of bought currency at the rate of the auction plus the amount of mandatory charge for state retirement insurance from cashless foreign currency buying/selling – 0,2%.
In order to buy foreign currency in the amount of early loan repayment (in the amount that does not exceed USD 50 000) you will need to:
- Apply to any branch of the Bank, complete an application for foreign currency buying, application on early repayment and pay the amount in UAH that consist of UAH equivalent of bought currency at the rate of auction plus the amount of mandatory charge for state retirement insurance from cashless foreign currency buying/selling – 0,2%.
We would like to pay your attention that foreign currency for early repayment will be bought at auction only after relevant amount in UAH equivalent is paid and all required documents are completed. Documents for early repayment for the next auction are accepted not later than 1 working day before the auction.
When completing documents at the branch of the Bank for foreign currency buying at the auction conducted by the NBU one should have:
- passport, reference on assignment of Taxpayer Identification Number;
- an original of credit contract in order to put a note about cashless buying of foreign currency in compliance with the requirements of current legislation.
