1990 - 1997

• In June 1990 the State bank of the USSR registered Kharkov commercial bank "Dobrodiy"
• In February 1995 Subotin Victor Georgievich was elected the Chairman of the bank's board of directors
• In 1995 Kharkov commercial bank "Dobrodiy" changed its name to "Joint stock commercial bank "Megabank"
• "Megabank" obtained a license of the State Security and Exchange Commission for issue and circulation of securities, for depositary activity and the right to run the register of owners of registered securities
• The bank has initiated and participated in creation and functioning of Kharkov regional bill centre, founded for resolving the problems of non payments in budget and fuel and energy spheres
• "Megabank" together with the National Bank of Ukraine has started the work as for creation of National system o mass electronic payments
• The bank has become member of "S.W.I.F.T."
• "Megabank" became connected to information and dealing system "Reuters"
• The bank became the member of Ukrainian interbanking currency exchange  (UMVB)

1998 - 2004

• In 1998  "Megabank" opened its first office "Shebelinske" in a village Krasniy Donets in Kharkov oblast
• 1.01.1999 "Megabank" opened in Kharkov oblast a Integrated Settlement Centre for people's payments for housing and communal services and energy carriers  (ISC), created a unified base of data of payers, elaborated and launched into circulation a unified settlement receipt
• The bank has created on a basis of ISC a unified database of persons entitled to benefits and subsidies and has automated working stations in subsidy offices
• "Megabank" has become the member of National system of mass electronic payments (NSMEP) and has issued a first payment plastic card
• "Megabank" has installed at its head office the first ATM machine of the National system of mass electronic payments. (NSMEP)
• The bank takes part in financing the building of the third line of Kharkov metro
• In 2001 "Megabank" opened in Poltava its first balance affiliate
• The bank obtained a license for currency valuables transportation and created on a basis of its head office in Kharkov the first encashment service
• In April 2001 "Megabank" together with Kharkov oblast administration, Economic Ministry of  Ukraine and State Construction Office of Ukraine held in Kharkov a seminar "Progressive systems of charge accounting and payment by the users the energy carriers and housing and communal services in Ukraine"
• "Megabank" opened balance affiliates in Vinnitsa, Donetsk, Zhitomir, Kiev, Kirovograd, Lvov, Nikolaev, Kherson, Cherkassy and Chernigov
• "Megabank" implemented a ISC technology on a basis of its subdivisions in Kirovograd, Znamyantsi of Kirovograd oblast, Lvov, Pervomaisk of Nikolaev oblast, all regional centers of Kharkov oblast, Novaya Kahovka of Kherson oblast, Cherkassy and Chernigov
• "Megabank" opened 141 its own offices in Vinnitsa, Kirovograd and Znamyansti of Kirovograd oblast, Lvovі and Stroy of Lvov oblast, Nikolaev and Pervomaisk of Nikolaev oblast, Kharkov and Khakrov oblast, Kherson and Novaya Kahovka of Kherson oblast, Cherkassy and Smili of Cherkassy oblast and in Chernigov, out of which 91 offices are automated billing offices
• The bank obtained a license for operations with banking metals
• "Megabank" became member of international payment system "MasterCard"
• The bank opened an account to the 100.000th client
• "Megabank" emitted 50th thousand payment plastic card of the National system of mass electronic payments (NSMEP)

2005

• "Megabank" together with International Financial Corporation (IFC) implemented a project of improvement the bank's corporate management
• "Megabank" created a unified database of payers for energy carriers and housing and communal services in Donetsk
• The bank became the winner of the Ukraine's Finance Ministry competition for competitive banks which deal with salary payments to budget institutions and state social assistance with the help of plastic cards
• "Megabank" won in a competition of State Treasury of Ukraine for the right to pay cash to budget institutions  by checks of State Treasury of Ukraine
• The bank opened 12 proper offices and automated billing offices in Vinnitsa, Lvov, Poltava and Kharkov

2006

• By the general meeting of the bank's shareholders the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Megabank" was elected Subbotin Victor Georgievich (formerly – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bankу). By the recommendation of International Financial Corporation David Kleeve, international banking expert, was elected to the membership of Supervisory Board for the position of independent director. Besides, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of "Megabank" was elected Zhukova Elena Mikhailovna (formerly – Deputy of the Chairman of the Board)
• "Megabank" has increased the authorized capital by 65 mln. UAH up to 115 mln. UAH by means of additional share emission. In line with the decree of management of the National Bank of Ukraine PLC "Megabank" received a status of a bank with foreign capital
• "Megabank" set in operation the system of internet payment for housing and communal services with the help of plastic cards NSMEP, holders of which have the possibility to get info about debts and current housing and communal charges, pay these services thru the Internet at the site of the bank's  Integrated billing centre (www.erc.megabank.net)
• "Megabank" set in operation the system of internet payment of housing and communal services with the help of plastic cards. NSMEP
• "Megabank"'s integrated settlement centre became the winner of Ukrainian exhibition-competition "The best domestic product" in the nomination "Banking, insurance, financial services"
• "Megabank" emitted 100 thousandth card of National system of mass electronic payments (NSMEP)
• The bank opened central regional offices in Dnepropetrovsk, Zhaporozhye, Lugansk, and in Kharkov – 4 offices and automated billing offices. "Megabank" reorganized its affiliate in Kirovograd in a central regional office

2007

• "Megabank" increased its authorized capital by 85 mln. UAH.up to 200 mln. UAH by means of additional share emission
• In July "Megabank" signed a loan agreement with "State export import bank" (Kiev) for 5 years within the framework of realized together with International bank of reconstruction and development the Second project of export development in Ukraine. Agreement amount is 10 mln USD with the possibility of further increase up to 20 mln USD
• In September the European bank of reconstruction and development (EBRD) opened to "Megabank" for 5 years a credit line in the amount of 20 mln. USD for long term financing of small and medium enterprises with technical assistance. "Megabank" initiated the Program of microcrediting
• "Megabank" opened central regional offices in Ivano-Frankovsk, Simpheropol, Odessa, Sumy, Ternopol and Khmelnitskiy, as well as6 offices and billing offices in Zhaporozhiye, Kiev, Lvov, Sevastopol and Kharkov
• "Megabank" reorganized the affiliates in Vinnitsa, Donetsk, Zhitomir, Nikolaev, Kherson, Cherkassy and Chernigov into central regional offices
• The bank began to realize the program of payment for communal services thru the network of own ATM machines.  Within the framework of this program to the billing system over 25 ATM machines have been installed
• "Megabank"'s information service at the number  0-800-50-44-00 became operational
• "Megabank" entered the rating "ТОP-100. Bets companies of financial sector"
• The bank has become partner-participant of international sustem of money transfer "PrivatMoney", "MoneyGram", "Аnelik" and "Alur"

2008

• German-Ukrainian fund opened to "Megabank" the credit line for 5 years in the amount of 5 mln.EUR for financing small and medium enterprises
• PLC "Megabank" signed a General agreement about refinancing and servicing of mortgage credit with the State mortgage institution
• On a basis of "Megabank"'s affiliate in Poltava an Integrated billing centre for payment for housing and communal services was created and an integrated bill was established
• "Megabank" was granted a license of the National Bank of Ukraine for operations with currency valuables and with bank metals on international markets in particular
• The State German bank of development "KfW" opened to "Megabank" a credit line for 5 years in the amount of 10 mln. USD for financing small and medium enterprises
• "Megabank" installed its 100th ATM machine
• The bank within the framework of a program "Electronic student's ticket" distributed 4000 plastic cards NSMEP among the students of the Nikolaev state university name after V.О. Sukhomlinskiy and Kharkov Ukrainian state academy of railway transport
• In Lvov "Megabank"'s proper service of encashment started its work
• "Megabank" received from the State German development bank "KfW" a technical assistance of German independent consultants and experts of Frankfort school of finance and management in the area of improvement of risk and regional network management and development of a business plan for the next period
• The bank opened central regional offices in Lutsk, Rovno, Uzhgorod and 15 offices and automated billing centers in Krivoy Rog of Dnepropetrovsk oblast, Feodosiya, Poltava, Chortkovy of Ternopol oblast and Kharkov
• The Pension Fund of Ukraine extended the agreement with "Megabank" till 1.01.2010
• "Megabank" became the winner of the State Treasury of Ukraine competition for determining the banks which will be attracted for cash servicing  with the aim of cash payment of checks of State Treasury of Ukraine in 2009-2011.

2009

• MEGABANK,PJSC during March increased its charter capital by UAH 150 million up to UAH 350 million thru share issue
• The bank issued the 200-th thousand card of National system of mass electronic payments (NSMEP)
• MEGABANK,PJSC installed in Kharkov the first electronic kiosk (M-Box) with the function of acceptance of utility payments
• MEGABANK,PJSC  started issue of payment cards "MasterCard Platinum"
• MEGABANK,PJSC  has expanded the list of services accepted by the technology of the Integral Clearing Center, to wit: acceptance of payments for cable TV, intercoms and ventilation channels
• International Finance Corporation (IFC) and MEGABANK,PJSC  signed a loan agreement about providing the bank with 4 year financing for the amount of USD 10 million with conversion possibility into the bank’s shares, aimed at financing of all lending operations of the bank. The agreement was signed: on behalf of IFC – Jyrki Koskelo, vice-president of corporation, on behalf of MEGABANK,PJSC  - Olena Zhukova, chairman of the bank’s Management Board
• EBRD and KfW and MEGABANK,PJSC signed agreements about joint acquisition by EBRD and KfW 30% of MEGABANK’s shares. The agreement s were signed: on behalf of EBRD – Andre Kuusvek, director in Ukraine, on behalf of  KfW – Doirs Kohn, senior vice-president, on behalf of MEGABANK,PJSC  - Viktor Subotin, chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Olena Zhukova, chairman of the bank’s Management Board
• MEGABANK,PJSC changed its name from Public Limited Company Megabank to Public Joint Stock Company “Megabank” . The name was changed in line with the Law of Ukraine "About joint stock companies"
• EBRD and MEGABANK,PJSC signed a loan agreement about providing the bank with 5 year financing for the amount of USD 15 million, aimed at support of small and mid-sized businesses. The agreement was signed: on behalf of EBRD – Jean-Marc Peterschmitt, director EBRD relations with banks, on behalf of MEGABANK,PJSC  - Olena Zhukova, chairman of the bank’s Management Board
• MEGABANK,PJSC during October increased the charter capital by UAH 150 million up to UAH 500 million thru share issue. The bank's shareholders have become EBRD and KfW, each shareholding of which in the bank's charter capital is 15%
• European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) and MEGABANK,PJSC signed an agreement about providing the bank with the subordinated loan for the amount of USD 10 million for 7 years, aimed at improvement of bank’s capitalization and financing of micro small and mid-sized businesses. The agreement was signed: on behalf of EFSE – Dr. Klaus Glaubitt, chairman of the Directors’ Board of EFSE, on behalf of MEGABANK,PJSC  - Olena Zhukova, chairman of the bank’s Management Board
• KfW and MEGABANK,PJSC signed the agreement about the subordinated loan in USD equivalent to EURO 4,4 million, for seven years, aimed at improvement of bank's capitalization and crediting of SME. The agreement was signed: on behalf of KfW – head of Eastern Europe financial markets department Eva Witt, and on behalf of MEGABANK,PJSC - chairman of the Management Board Olena Zhukova
• In December the new members of the bank's Supervisory Board became Alexander Saveliev, the representative of EBRD and Lars Oermann, the representative of KfW
• International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank group and MEGABANK,PJSC signed the subordinated loan agreement for the amount of USD 10 million for 7 years. The agreement was singed: on behalf of IFC – the manager of IFC activity in Ukraine Olena Voloshina, on behalf of MEGABANK,PJSC - chairman of the Management Board Olena Zhukova
• In the course of the year the bank opened 5 automated billing points in Lvov, two - in Poltava and two - in Kharkov. Besides the bank opened two full fleshed departments in Poltava, and one in Mykolaiv oblast
