Konnov & Sozanovksy held a number of workshops on funding businesses of Ukrainian companies.

This topic was dictated by changes in business trends that occurred on national and international stock and financial markets due to the economic recession.  That is why the issue of diversification of external and multicorporate funding became relevant for many Ukrainian companies.

The possible means of fund raising in current economic circumstances were considered at the workshop.  Special emphasis were placed on the legislation changes with regard to credit crunch, limitation of deposits withdrawal, positive and negative aspects of loans receipt by Ukrainian companies from non-residents, fundraising through issue of bonds.

A scheme of loan receipt by Ukrainian companies from Cyprus banks using Cyprus holding companies was presented to the participants at the workshop. 

Partner Yevheniya Derbal, a head of a tax law department and partner Borys Lobovyk, a head of a commercial law and contracts department were the speakers at the workshop.
