The Kyiv branch of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has ordered the city’s electricity utility, Kyivenergo, not to fulfill a threat of cutting electricity supplies for the municipal water utility, Kyivvodokanal.

Its press service reported on Saturday that an electricity cut-off at Kyivvodokanal could lead to inevitable consequences, including dire sanitary, epidemiological and ecological dangers.

The PGO said that Kyivvodokanal is the only company in the city which satisfies needs of Kyiv residents, medical organizations, kindergartens, schools, fire stations, water supply and sewage and drainage systems.

The press service said that the scheduled cut-off is not in line with the Constitution and Ukrainian law.

\"The press service said that the scheduled cut-off is not in line with the Constitution and Ukrainian law.\" How about paying your bills? How about the prosecutor ordering the city and mayor to pay his bills?
