Main principles of playing Revolverchess. Two teams (6-person or 8-person) participate in the game; correspondingly, it is 6- or 8-bullet revolver. The game is played on one board. Before the game start the participants remain in rooms - “drums” isolated from the game hall (“shooting gallery”). Every team, releasing from “cylinder” their members one by one, moves a piece – makes a “shot”. The team member, who has already moved a piece, remains in the game hall. Thus, any further member of the team has to learn the current situation on the board right at the moment of entering the game hall and does not have opportunity to get a team support. He himself makes a decision how to move a piece. Along the game all the members move from “drums” to the game hall (“shooting gallery”),where they have the opportunity to analyze the situation on the board and to work out their team strategy before the next stage. The next stage presents the contrary to the previous one and now the team members gather in “drums” The particular feature of this stage is that the participants are isolated from the game hall and they have to analyze the course of the game by memory or according to their colleagues’ words. The game has the rules and penalties for particular participants and a team as a whole, like, for example, taken from football: “prior warning” (yellow card) and “missing the turn” (red card). Basketball presented the game with the right to have one extra team deliberation - “time out”, which gives the opportunity to make a team decision at a critical juncture.
