Some peculiarities of chip cards: With a chip card, transactions are conducted quickly and easily. Chip allows to conduct transactions without authorization by the bank, i.e., for example, when paying for goods at a shop, you have not to wait until a cashier obtains answer from the bank via POS terminal with all information required for conducting of transaction, so payment with a chip card at a shop or cash withdrawal from ATM will take only several seconds of your time. Chip cards are much safer than those with magnetic strip, they can not be fabricated. A payment chip card has higher protection level. Chip allows to protect information securely. Chip card is highly functional. You may have several cards in your purse now: discount, bonus, credit, salary card, etc – one chip card may function as all these cards. Payment chip card may contain both standard payment instruments, and different other applications. Chip card is visually customary for the user – it differs only by availability of a chip and looks like ordinary payment card, it also has a magnetic strip; it is easy to use, just as a card with magnetic strip.
