Yuliya Chernykh, Senior Associate of AstapovLawyers, has attended Vilnius, Lithuania.

The purpose of visit was participation in the GAFTA Course "Contract and Dispute Resolution" which undoubtedly will assist in strengthening the Firm's Practice in the area consulting and arbitrating in soft commodities.

Ms. Chernykh also visited the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration (VCCA). In the course of the meeting with the General Secretary of the VCCA Vitalija Baranoviene numerous issues of practice of AstapovLawyers in international commercial arbitration in Ukraine and abroad as well as particularities of VCCA were discussed. The visit will broaden the range of the arbitration institutions where AstapovLawyers currently practices.

The visit is indicative of our Firm`s constant strife to enrich professional horizons of our Partners and Associates. Despite the present situation we continue to invest in our people`s knowledge and experience which of course pays back on the success of our Clients.

The visit is also important in strengthening our practice in the Baltic region where our presence has dramatically increased over the last year.
