During many years a series of International Seminars on Inclusion Compounds (ISIC) and associated with the ISIC Polish-Moldavian-Ukrainian Symposiums on Supramolecular Chemistry were one of the most successful scientific meetings for supramolecular chemists of Eastern Europe and especially former Soviet Union. At the same time, further development of the area of supramolecular chemistry and rapid progress in nanochemistry and nanotechnologies require relevant response from organizers of this Symposium. In particular, this concerns extension of scientific fields covered by the Symposium and closer collaboration and cooperation with scientists working in adjacent areas like physics, biology and medicine etc. During last years it was found more and more applications of supramolecular systems in many areas. Therefore, in order to meet modern trends in Supramolecular Chemistry we would like to announce transformation of Polish-Moldavian-Ukrainian Symposium on Supramolecular Chemistry to International Symposium "Supramolecular and Nano Chemistry: Toward Applications" SNCTA-2008.
The main idea of SNCTA-2008 is to bring together scientist working in the areas of design, synthesis, investigation and application of supramolecular compounds, nanocompounds and materials. This will allow to organize close contacts and cooperation between physicist, biologist, chemists and technologist who use supramolecular and nanoassemblies for development and investigation of different types of functional materials and equipment and chemists who can create and synthesize such compounds.
Official language of the Symposium is English. No translations are provided.
