In October, the official unemployment rate increased by 0.1 percentage point to 1.9%.
The State Statistics Committee announced this in a statement.
The State Statistics Committee said that as of November 1, the State Employment Service registered 530,000 unemployed people.
As of October 1, the service registered 514,000 unemployed people.
The number of unemployed people who obtained aid from the state totaled 381,600 people in October.
The average size of the grant amounted to UAH 526.97 per one unemployed person in October.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in September, the official unemployment rate did not change and remained at the level of 1.8%.
